I really really dont like that behavior. I get that these are free opinion boards, but I dont think opinions = character attacking. good gawd, have a heart.


there now... anyone else feel I should delete FWB thread? I skimmed through the bs, quite frankly I cant be bothered, no offense, this shits tiring, I'd rather get everyones opinion ...preferably without anymore bs. 😄 simple yay or nay, perhaps a concise why. cuz thats 2 strikes in one week for my threads.

perhaps the best thing to do is ignore this kind of thing when it happens. i think its sad when a lot of good discussion is lost because of a few misguided people. very annoying. a littl drama is expected and even healthy in a certain dosage, but we're all adults here. i like dxp... except when drama like this goes down and I see deleted threads, then disappearing dxp friends, or worse... hurt dxp friends.

It sucks when ppl character bash and attack with name calling etc. I could've taken personal offense to what was said as well since I was on the "for it" team so to speak, but I chose to just leave it be. WTF do I care what a stranger behind a monitor has to say about me? I know when I post that I open myself up for criticism, but I dont really care! I say leave it.... if they take offense, they probably shouldnt be posting anyhow and if they find the need to attack someone, it only shows what douchebags they really are.

Yea, like i said.. I just skimmed. I caught some harsh name calling in response to what seemed like a very honest post. uncool. Im just calling out for an end to character attacking, or at the very least ignore those who do it. Nothing more lame than a volley of low blows while trying to prove who has the most righteous opinion. And im actually not hinting at anyone in specific, just in general. But no doubt there are specific people who this applies to. So Im pretty lazy and didnt want to study pages of posting... im asking for opinions here.

Oh,well the only name calling occurred from the same ip address. SOOO I'm just saying. The "victim" posted a thread clearing it up, and apparently it was posted from her computer, so obviously someone she knows. Something personal, and something that has nothing to do with anyone else on DXP. :/

That's why I didn't get it.

But I get it now. To sum it up: creepy is just being a sweetie, and feels guilty for creating a thread in which another user was called a name. But I don't think it's necessary to delete the thread, especially now that the situation is understood, and it has nothing to do with another DXP user. 🙂
