Eighth house placements and their influence?

I have the Sun and Jupiter in Leo in the 8th house as well as Mercury in Virgo on the 8th/9th house cusp - different natal chart services say that they're different. I have really been feeling my eighth house influences, especially as I get a little older and learn more about astrology. I'm 24 currently and am studying to get my PhD in Clinical Health Psychology - conducting research on yoga and stress reactivity. I love yoga and go nearly every day. I can definitely tell exactly what people are like and what they're feeling within seconds of seeing or meeting them which can be a blessing and a curse. I can appear like I am on a mission and have definitely received mixed messages from people and have felt very misunderstood at times, which can be a scorpion thing I've heard. I had a very difficult childhood and adolescence but now have been utilizing techniques from Western and Eastern psychology/philosophy to help improve the lives of others. I always feel like there's so much resistance I have to let go of each day I wake up and it feels karmic. I was just wondering if anyone else could share their eighth house experience?

What signs are your sun and mercury? I feel like sun in the 8th is very capable of bouncing back from life's major traumas and can help other people with that very same thing.

My NN is capricorn in the 2nd, my SN is cancer in the 8th. Weird. I feel like the purpose of all of this is for me to shed the eighth house stuff.

Yes. Mom's an Aries. Reading about the Libra/Aries clash and my mother's chart were some of the first things that got my attention. I was like ok.. theres something to this astrology stuff..

I have NN in Cancer in my 8th house. Meaning the universe is about to wait 100 years for me to get mature if it's necessary.

Hmm, not often lol I have to take care of myself financially. Which I like. Come to think of it, someone did mention something about this to me, but said that it would have more of an effect in marriage. Even though I never would've imagined that lol we'll see.
