Hello! I just need some imput/advice.

Here is my chart:

ASC: Libra

SUN: Leo
MOON: Pisces

MERC: Virgo
VENUS: Cancer
MARS: Taurus
JUPITER: Cancer
SATURN: Cap
URANUS: Cap
NEPTUNE: Cap
PLUTO: Scorpio

As you can see, I am a Leo (fire) with a majority of water and earth in my chart.
My only air sign is my ascendant.
I wanted to know if I should be considering myself as a fire sign, or and water/earth sign.

Since my sun sign is Leo, and the leo part of me is pretty prominent in my personality, am I a fire sign?
What should be taken into account exactly?

you have what is called an air singleton. it usually takes over the whole chart, making you more of an air personality
although the earth placements are doing you good
so read about singletons (in air)
also, Mars in Taurus is a bit lazy. I have the same thing and it is describing an action sign that should behave bravely like a general in battle, not like a general having sex with the mistress while soldiers are waiting outside, completely disappointed. so you can work on your discipline vs pursuit of earthly pleasures 🙂

getting started on anything is just about the worst.
i do like the whole earthly pleasures thing.. haha but you're right, it does kind of take over and i can't get started on things that really need to be done.


but i also have only one fire sign?
is the singleton because it's my ascendant?

no it's singleton because it's the only air you have, so it overcompensates
that's why you need to know about that Mars and slowly gently learn to discipline yourself to work more. why, because not doing this is where the source of low self esteem is, with leos

ahhhhggghh.

yeah i've been reading so much more about fire signs and i recently i have been trying so hard to connect myself to all the water in my chart because it seemed so much more interesting and since there is so much of it i thought maybe i was more of a water sign.

but i read a description of fire, and the whole thing about not connecting with your body or not really like taking much importance to it, not being confident about looks.. living in a fantasy world, not being able to take care of some everyday business because the fantasy world of life is just so much better.
all that stuff i just, that's me.

and i think trying to make myself connect to all the water stuff and earth stuff, is me trying to prove i am not like a fire sign, but i am.
it is definitively my core. and i think the air must have alot to do with it to, i have to read the air sign description too.

so you're saying is my issues lie within the relationship between my libra ascendant and taurus mars?

it totally makes sense that something being the only one of it's kind in your chart would stand out and kind of take over.
it's really interesting.
never really thought about it before, and there isn't too much about it.
i've been looking into it more and checking out people's charts to see if they have that too.

just a whole other layer to add to astrology!
