HOW DO I HANDLE AN ARIES BULLDOZER?

I am with someone who has Sun in Aries, Moon in Aries, Venus in Aries, and Mars in Aries. His Mercury is in Pisces.

I went to high school and grade school with this person, and he was very quiet, very reserved, and was the top athlete in school. I was the smartest girl in school. Brains and brawn.

My companion of 20 years died 4 years ago. He was a very quiet Aries who liked to read all day. He was very smart and easy to be around.

Two years ago, I became reacquainted with my grade school, high school friend, who fell in love with me instantly because I was the beautiful and smart “it” girl in school. I knew this guy was not very smart, but I thought being together might work because we grew up together and he was quiet…then.

His main residence is in the Midwest, while mine is in the Southwest. Except for stints in the service, he has never been out of narrow-minded and negative Indiana, while I have lived in liberal and open-minded New Mexico for more than 40 years.

This Aries pushed himself on me and moved out here within 4 months. He is a farmer; I am a writer. I need a quiet atmosphere in order to produce work. I was shocked to have him come out here and completely take over my life style and my ranch as though he own the place.

I do not really mind this so much as I do his non-stop constant blabbering about nothing. He is extremely pushy and if I tell him no, he will ask me the same question again the next day. I thought the quiet boy I grew up with was coming her to live, but he is now a Gomer Pyle blabbermouth.

I now see that there is something mentally disarranged with this guy. I have met his 4 children, 4 grandchildren, and ex-wife and there are mental disabilities in 75% of this group. I want to be respectful and not go into detail.

Farmer Hank goes back to Indiana to farm twice a year: two months in spring to plant corn and soybeans, and then he returns for another two months in the fall to harvest crops.

I keep telling him not to come back, yet he returns as though he owns the place. I do not want to totally crush him because we did grow up together and I would not turn away a childhood friend.

We do not live together. I have several buildings on my ranch. He lives away from the main house.

Can someone help me and tell me about the energies of this strange beast? He is a steamroller bulldozer who is very passive aggressive. He will not argue with me about anything, yet he feels free to not listen to me when I ask him not to do things around the ranch or damage my property, cutting down my few tress, getting rid of all my cacti, and trying to turn my beautiful meadow into a corn field. He wants New Mexico to look like Indiana.

I am a Leo-Rising Virgo with Moon in Gemini who is supposed to be completing a trilogy, and I have not been able to work with Gomer Pyle/Baby Huey interrupting me every 15 minutes.

I have discussed boundaries many times, but he doesn’t hear or chooses not to listen. Oh…and he is deaf and refuses to wear his hearing aids. Yes, I have also emailed him at least a dozen times about personal boundaires, but he doesn't get it. Five minutes later he forgets.

Go ahead…laugh. But please give me some advice.

I forgot to mention that this person is very wishy-washy, flippy-floppy. I thought Aries were supposed to be more solid than this. This guy is a big fantasy dreamer who lives in a rainbow bubble.

Hollyhock what is NN? We were romantic for 6 months and then the relationship fizzled after he hat-racked a grove of trees so he could get a "better view of the mountains." The trees will now die.

beautifulsoul74 There really is not much more to tell you. He is an old friend from home who is like a brother and I feel sorry for him. He lives in Indiana in the middle of nowhere and farms for free for his brother and nephew. I do not know if something happened to him during his two tours in Iraq. I would never turn away an old friend or a nice relative. I have a large enough ranch where I can avoid him...sometimes. My questions is this: Look at all the Aries in his chart. Why did I think he was shy and quiet in high school? He never dated. Just played sports and played them well. What am I missing here? I can see how someone with so much Aries can be a steamroller, but how did I miss this in grade school and high school. I would not have allowed him to come out if I had know he would talk all day and night. I'm asking for someone to explain to me the dynamics of all the Aries in his chart. Don't get me wrong. He is a nice guy, but I just did not realize how obsessive, nuts, and crass he is. My friends tell me I am very refined. This mix confuses me. I tell him every time he goes back to farm. He comes back anyway like a lost puppy. He might have memory issues from being in Iraq. I am confused by his lack of remembering or logging in anything I say. He was so quiet when we were in school together. Can an Aries be quiet one half of his life and a loud mouth the next half? Most of us are consistent and get polished or refined as we age. And what does a "whole lot of Aries" mean to you, Libracookie? I was married once, lived with a man, had another companion for 20 years, and all of them were Aries men, who had quiet, sensitive, quiet sides. I can't figure out this blabbermouth swashbuckler! His constant talking makes me crazy. He is a very nice, handsome man, but I wish he would shut up. He is deaf and doesn't hear me. This is a lot of the problem.

I see but I'll be honest...he's only doing this because you allow it. I'm not making you into a bad person but I think you rushed into this situation with him out of loneliness/sexual attraction/etc without thinking and now that the honeymoon phase has worn off, you're having regrets. To be honest, I think you saw the red flags but ignored them, again, because you couldn't see past what you wanted. As I stated before, it's ok, we're all human and make mistakes. But fixing this situation begins with you being honest with yourself. While Aries can be controlling, they typically don't do these things and don't come around unless they're under the impression that somebody wants them there.

beautifulsoul74, yes all the red flags were there, but I really was not lonely. I am never lonely for men. I am around so many of them, not romantically. I thought it would be nice to have a male companion on this big ranch. He has been helpful. Both of us know the romance is gone. He keeps coming back like a long lost relative. Neither of us is leading the other one on. There is no romance or intimacy. My confusion is this: How did I grow up with a very quiet, shy person who is now Zorro the Swashbuckler? Where did I go wrong? Do people change so drastically. I thought I was getting a nice quiet companion. I got a rock and roll party. What did I miss? Are Aries so shy and insecure that they mask themselves until they are older? My questions here are about all this Aries energy I did not see. Most of my friends are Aries, but none are as impetuous and as impatient as is this one. How did I miss this? I am baffled. Are there any Aries out there who were quiet growing up and are now Lion Riders?

sakuraflowers, I wish I knew. He refuses to look for his birth certificate to find out. He is pretty darn stubborn. Mine is Leo with Pluto (12th) and Venus (1st) conjunct the Ascendant. Sun conjunct Saturn is close by in 2nd house. Thoughts?
