Memo To All Men....

Just to forewarn, this is going to be a little bit of a venting session.

This goes out to all my fellow men regardless of sun sign.

When it comes to dating really attractive women, grow the hell up!

Let me get more specific. Last night I was out barhopping catching up with old friends. Wasn't out trying to meet girls. I ended up in really screwed up situations with women and their boyfriends.

At one bar there was a long line for a restroom. During conversation with my friends I kept looking that direction to see if the line died down. Because I had to go. As I am glancing I catch this hot girl looking me up and down. As soon as eye contact was made she smiled at me.

Normally I would have sucked in my bathroom break and been over there in seconds. But there was a guy who came back to her and grabbed her hand. So I write it off. As me and my pals were about to leave, he approaches me.

"So, you fond of my girlfriend mister?" I am like "WTF?!" Being a smartass I naturally want to give him a snarky response. But since he looks like the long lost white brother of Ike Turner, I keep cool.

Before I give him a response he cuts in with "well she is mine and i wont let you get her." As this is going on his girlfriend is making "I am so sorry" gestures to me.

I tell him "No disrespect intended but me and my friends are leaving now, bye." He tries to stalk off after me, but the girlfriend stops him.

Scenario #2 I am walking down 6th street looking for a new bar that has jsut opened up. As I am searching another hot girl and her boyfriend are walking almost beside kind of behind us. Keep in mind I am not paying attention to them at all.

When all of a sudden he busts out with "If you think you are going to have a chance with my girlfriend, then I have one answer for you it will come with my fists."

Again girlfriend is apologizing for him and trying to shoo him away. He didnt look drunk at all which was the weird part I just walk the other direction real fast with my friends. I am not scared to fight but I dont want to go to jail either.

As me and my friends are hanging out. I start noticing things I usally dont pay attention to. The hot girls with boyfriends are always hovering over them like they are secret service protection. 2ndly the girls with the guys are usually dancing by themselves. Because the boyfriend doesnt want to dance.

Guys you really wonder why these attractive girls dump or cheat on you? Girls do not like jealously. Let me repeat, GIRLS DO NOT LIKE JEALOUSY.

I love the contradiction with men. They can check out other women, but when their gf does it is a no-fly zone. Just because she is with you doesnt mean she is dead. So what if she looks at other men? The bottom line is she is with you.

Secondly is it me or most men are utterly hopeless when showing a woman a fun night? To have a good time, you have to give a good time. No girl wants to be with Al Bundy.

See the curse of me being single is I attract mostly women in unhappy relationships. Every girl with a biyfriend that likes me keeps saying "you're different why cant my bf be like you?" Seriously I hear this from them all the time.

So please take heed if you dont have the balls to be with an attractive woman, go home and spend quality time with your vaseline and porn.

Yes, I have dated a hot girl. When we went out together every guy would try their hand at approaching her while I was away for a moment.

I would sit back and laugh. They would do some really lame shit. And she would in a polite way blow them off. I only broke it off with her because she had a problem with white substances.

I understand what you are saying. There are some women who dig jealousy. But there is a difference between a little bit of jealousy and full blown. Full blown aint gonna get you laid. That is going to take you to the couch.

In my experience women value trust above anything else. The territory analogy you used is not a good mentality to have in my opinion. Women want you to trust their judgment. That they can handle the situation themselves. If they can't you will definately know.

I think that is sad there is that type of melrose place drama between women. I just dont understand the concept of hating a someone jsut because they are popular with the opposite sex.

A lot of my guy friends are the johnny depp model looking types. But I am not going to hate on them because they hit the genetic lottery and I didnt. If I am going to hate someone it is because they are jerks in general oh, and anyone that has a "Honk for Jesus" bumper sticker on their car as well.

I definately agree. I find the hypocrisy interesting with the jealous guys who cheat as well. There is one guy I know who I've seen actively flirt with girls in social situations while his girlfriend is there. But the minute one guy is in conversation with his girlfriend, he is the second coming of Tommy Lee.

Love the "Do As I Say Not As I Do" mentality he has going on. If he wasnt a co-worker I'd tell him off. But he is so it's a moot point.

The only thing I dont like is when a girl uses me as a jealousy plot for her bf. I've been at parties where a girl approaches me. And is very direct with being interested , and I am thinking "Wow, finally a woman who is agressive." Must be the fire in my chart because I am attracted to agressive girls.

Anyway, I am assuming we will exchange numbers and hang out. At first does happen. Then a minute later boyfriend walks in. Is basically like "WTF is going on" "This is my woman, who the hell are you?"

I just told him, "Look we were just talking I didnt know she was with anyone." And I walk off and she is givine me the call me sign behind him.

Girls if you ever wonder why men dont approach immediately take this scenario into consideration.

I dont think I am anything special. Look, back in high school I was the walking prototype for Napoleon Dynamite. If you had told me then that I would have good looking guys that felt like I was a threat to them you would have been laughed out of town.

I am 28 years old, but I dont think it's the older guy thing. People tell me I look like I am 20. I have spikey blonde hair maybe girls like that. I usually thought women just go for tall dark and brad pitt types.

As I get older, one thing I figured out that is a universal truth. Hot chicks have weird tastes in guys. I am evidence of that, obviously.

I think these hyper-jealous boyfriends are transferring their own motives on to you: They probably cheat on their hot girlfriends, and therefore assume every other guy does, too. Look at the guys who've been with some of the hottest celebrity women, and should have considered themselves lucky, but wind up blowing it because of cheating...

Or, maybe hot women suck at choosing a faithful guy -- maybe they're more superficial than less hot women...

My Scorpio Wife is HOT. She draws men like a magnet, and that's something I had to come to terms with back when we were dating. I know that whether I'm with her or not, guys (and some gals, too!) are gonna hit on her when she's out and about. I trust her completely, but I don't trust them, and there's been a couple of times when I've gotten my dander up. She doesn't like to see that side of me. But... the time I drug her back from the club house after a young guy was chatting her up, and acted like a caveman, and had her all over the bed, was one of our hottest lovemaking sessions -- though she chastised me severely afterwards.

Well said. It's a two-way street. Men and women need to act like adults. If you're in a relationship, then honor it.

I understand where you are coming from, dont get me wrong. I mean if your wife was sending out subtle SOS signals then sure step in. If not and had it been me I would have left it alone.

That sounds weird coming from a scorp like me, doesnt it? I really believe the type of background you were raised in makes a significant impact in relationships.

My father was 12 years older then my mother. My mother was an attractive woman who got approached a lot by men. This would happen in social situations my parents attended. When they were in different rooms of these functions.

I remember something my dad once said when I was a teenager. He said "I always got a kick out of it when your mother had men hit on her. I thought to myself, let them think they have a chance by flirting with her. But the bottom line is no matter what tricks these men have up their sleeve, I know at the end of the night your mother wants to come home with me."

My father is also a Sagittarius Moon like me. Maybe sag moons just by nature arent jealous I guess. But I've maintained my dad's line of thinking in dating for as long as I can remember.

I do think some mens jealousy stems from scarcity mentality. Maybe they dont date attractive woman on a consistant basis. So when they do meet a hot girl who likes them they get extremely insecure. They think if they get dumped, another attractive woman will never look their way again.

Which is foolish to think anyway. If that one beautiful woman was interested enough to date you why think there were would not be others?

Then again I do have mars in sagittarius which ensures I move on from relationships fairly quick🙂

Hey FB, I completely agree with you - I have sag moon & mars too. Some bf's in the past have tried to use other women to make me jealous but it doesn't work haha, I just pull away from them (detach emotionally). I'm not interested in games...

I can't stand people with control issues, nor would I tolerate a very jealous or possessive partner - it's pathetic. One of my ex's, a capricorn, actually complained that I was "not demanding enough" hahaha!

Also agree on the topic of upbringing. And hey, I don't think you should be ashamed (for want of a better word) to tell people that you are a solar scorpio...Anyone that knows anything about astrology, or is atleast willing to listen, will be able to comprehend that there is alot more to you than your sun sign. I'm sorry but the first post is just hilarious. what a night, huh? well, the thing is that girls are naturally slutty. THERE! If your in a public area drinking and having a good time with your good looking significant other be it a bar or a club take head to the fact that other men who are drinking and having a good time will be just as easily atracted by your significant other as you were the day you met her. They will talk to her thats not a crime, they will dance with her in a club thats not a crime if your not dancing and she should want to, and they will tell her nice things, those are called compliments. A grown man though jellous by all meens should controll his jellousy and not act too harshly, however a single man should also take head to the fact that men are still animals especialy when drinking and most all animals will protect their mate at all costs. In any public area dispute over relationships can and will rise, and it is no ones place to ask it any different. Its the way were built, out chemistry if you will. Just because your calm and cool headed does not meen the man beside you is. This memo to all men is rediculous. I beleive all men should be strapped with a sign that says hserdous when prevoked, or unstable matirial. What didnt set you off one day might set you off the next. whos to say that someday you wint have a women you feel is worth protecting from the sly words of a single man such as yourself. would you then not feel foolish? Talon that is a valid point regarding single men if you are approaching the women. If you look back in my first post I NEVER approached these girls. Made eye contact but that is it.

I have a right to go out with my friends and have a good time. Without getting threatend by some yahoo who is clearly insecure about the fact he has not seen his own penis in 10 years.

And once again I have dated a hot girl so I do know what it is like. But here's the difference I did not get threatened by it. I let the girl handle the situation. If she needed help from me she will sublty give a signal.

Bottom line if I aint saying "Hey Baby Gurl, let me holla atcha" to your lady then mind your own business and let me destroy my liver in peace.

Well first off, the reason you shouldn't take any of this to heart is because you're probably not the first person these "boyfriends" so-called blow up on. It's probably a routine for these other men to be so over protective of their girlfriends that they naturally blow up on other men who even stare. The crazy thing is, if you're going to take your girlfriend to a bar/club or whatever, I'm sure you want her looking nice because she's kind of like the pretty Christmas ornament on your arm. But yet when you get what you asked for (other people admiring her beauty), the guy blows up on you. Well guess what, when you see relationships like that, it shouldn't even bother you because
1. You know deep down that the only reason you even sort-of noticed her was because you noticed that she noticed you.
2. To know someone is looking at you, you have to be looking at them
And
3. The reason most of those women sneak "peeks" at other men is because they know deep down, the man they are with is not going to last much longer. So in a way, the "jealous boyfriend" almost looks more dumb than he's trying to make you look. And just knowing that should make you vent out of laughter & feeling sorry for those men instead of venting out of anger or annoyance.

I think it's funny to see men who are too overbearing over their girlfriends out in public to the point where you can almost tell blowing up on other people is a natural & daily thing for the couple. It shows everything BUT growth in that relationship & it almost makes you feel sorry for the guy who's blowing up because if only he knew, the reason she took a "peek" at you in the first place was probably because she'd rather be with you, a complete stranger instead of the man who makes himself believe that because he blows up on another person, that makes her her property.
