I have a growing interest in this tie between musical tastes and astrological profiles. I ask that you share 1. Your current favorite song or songs, generally describe your musical tastes (Do you do you search for the good stuff? Or do you listen to whatever plays on le radio? Perhaps you're a damn sax. player. Perhaps not. Go ahead, say it.) and 2. Your asc/sun/moon/mercury/venus placements.

*Feel Free to continue posting the ever-changing "current" favourite song/s of yours. Feel very free.

As for me: My current fav[ou> I'm Canadian.]rite songs:

Im posting two, actually. They are featured in the show Breaking Bad which is how I found them. I've currently been *fixating on that show. It's pretty damn good, you can't blame me. So is the music:

Los Zafiros - "He Venido"

Alexander - "Truth"

Sincerely, Aries asc, Aquarius moon receiving mercury in Cancer, Cancer Sun/Mercury/Venus

Oh, and one more thing. Excuse my lack of sleep and impulsive, forgetful aries asc.
To describe my musical tastes, I would say they're very eclectic and picky. I call myself a "song" person; not an album person, not a band person, not an OST person or whatever. I like songs for sentimental reasons. I tie songs and themes in my head. A song has a particular mood, and makes me feel a certain way. One song will make me feel badass, another like crying.
Pretty human, I guess? Anyways, enough about me.

My musical tastes are varied. However, genres that I listen to consistently are Country and Classical.
I listen to music that have a meaning behind the lyrics, just a good beat won't cut it.
I don't listen to the radio much because I don't listen to pop music much for the reason mentioned above, it lacks depth. I have tons of songs stored in organized playlists on my iPod that I listen to instead.
I play four instruments: Tuba (6 years) Acoustic & Bass Guitar (2 years) Piano (1 year) and I hope to learn to play the Cello soon. I think it is the most beautiful sounding instrument.
I love dark/melancholy classical music, and my favorite composer for that reason is Allan Pettersson.

Very varied from alt. synth, some goth but not as much as in the past.
Trad. bluegrass/country/folk.
Classic jazz, big band, classic rock'n'roll, trad. pop standards.
Some musical/show music, don't know much about classical music but enjoy it anyway.

During my childhood/teens I was big on various ethnic but not anymore.

NOT really up on contemporary music trends/top pop 100 or whatever.

Cap - Sun/Moon
Venus - Aqua
Mars - Sag

And your Jupiter is posited where?

I don't really keep up with contemporary music but I have a very varied CD collection. Over the years the main types of music that I have liked have been psychedelic, Motown, Bowie, Springsteen/Jersey Shore and some heavy metal (mainly Black Sabbath-related). But if I had to listen to the music of just one person or band it would probably be the music of Ennio Morricone: I was interested to see the other day that our Saturns are conjunct (in Sagittarius) which seems significant.

I'm oldskool when it comes to music.... I'm stuck between 1995-2009. For me it's about quality rather than what's 'in' right now.

I LOVE LOVE D'Angelo, he is a musical genius and I listen to his album almost every day (((hardcore fan))).....Maxwell, Jill Scott, Faith Evans, JODECI, Mary J, Next, 112, Damage...all them old skool tunes there keeps me nice, u feel meh.

But I also have a love for (good) rock/indie/acid jazz/dnb/pop artists...Jamiroquai, Coldplay (love 'em) Oasis, Blur, The Verve, Nickleback...Spice Girls ain't immune to my play system either. I could go on all night. Basically anything goes.

I don't really rate that Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Jesse J and other artists floating around nowerdays....what they sing is all a bunch of bullshit imo...that Bieber bloke...what's the big deal with him?! For weeks they kept putting him on breakfast TV like he was king. I just don't get it.

I wanna be an oldskool DJ!!! Bring back quality music!!!

I don't have a current favorite.

What I've noticed about my taste is my love for melody(I'm not initially huge on words/lyrics), especially a melody that puts me in another place. It can come from any song/genre....long as I'm able to drift(past, present, future). Usually the Isley Brothers(My favs), Toni Tony Toni, Prince, Sade, Outkast, Tribe Called Quest, Erykah Badu etc. does it for me.

I have been told by many people I have wicked good taste in music. I search for new music everyday. I have no desire to hear what is most popular. My taste ranges from folk to electronic.

Damien Jurado-Museum of Flight (Sheets is also great by him)

Half Moon Run-Need it

Other Lives- Paper Cities ----->one of my favorite bands 🙂
