my childhood boy friend disappeared

okay so I move back into my old residence where I grew up and after 6mo I run into a childhood boyfriend of mine we were dating at 11 and basically things changed for both of us I got married had 2 kids then divorced and he has a baby on the way but he isn't with the mother of his child from what he says he hates her guts anyway he has an addiction to coke and is trying to kick the habit and he wants to date me I told him the only way for hm to date me is if he kicks the habit and get it together so okay he kicks the habit and is with me every single min but all of a sudden he disappears for 4 days and I'm worried about him I do remember joking around with him saying that he needed to take a break from me I hope he didn't take me seriously but all the while I am pondering on weather or not he is my soulmate because our birth charts is ridiculously alike please tell me what you think

How long did it take him to kick the habit? Did he go to rehab and attend any kind of sober recovery meetings?

To be really REAL with you, he's most likely out on a drug binge but to be sure check with his family, all the hospitals, jails if you're that concerned about him but most likely he's probably up in a crack house getting high.

I want to be honest and tell you what I think.I think he may have had a relapse and that's why he has disappeared.It probably has nothing to do with you.I hope it's not the case of him having a relapse.I wish you the best🙂.

Well this is going to sound crazy, but he had been sober for 2 weeks. He said that he really wanted to stop and I saw a change, but as he was telling me past stories thats when I realized how bad it was.

2 weeks is not a habit kicked. It's a vacation. He returned to work.

Crack cocaine is his #1 love, his first and only lover, you don't fit into the equation and surely you don't have too much self esteem if you're holding onto him this hard, tell yourself you can and will do better, move on or get ready for severe pain.

I get that you care for him and want to help, thats your choice. If you didn't have any kids I would say knock yourself out but you have your children to consider, he maybe potentially dangerous. Drugs changes people, he's not the guy you once knew.

thanks for your post. You are right at this point I'm not even tripping about it I have a good job, I have my children, and I'm not addicted to drugs. It's a beautiful thing so I will just move on with my life..

Hey we all wish him well...I had my issues with alcohol(still kinda do)its an uphill battle...why complicate you're life anymore than it already is.


When you're a single mother you need someone who's gonna bring something to the table, not pull the table cloth out from under you.
