Natal before synastry

I was analysing charts and just thinking... what if someone's own challenging aspect meets another one's in a relationship.

For example:

If someone has Saturn opp. Venus placement and his partner has Jupiter opp Venus. This could be a meeting of a mean person with another who loves spending money (??)

Or someone has Uranus- Sun strong placement and she meets a Saturn-Sun person. A freedom lover with a person with blocks/barrier.

Without looking into the synastry or composite chart these personal issues might turn up.

Or am I overanalysing?

I agree with NotSoInstant, they say that it's important to understand the 2 natal charts involved before giving a lot of weight to the synastry.

Either we look at synastry, or composite, it seems individuality counts more.
