I just made a discovery. I always wondered what the R next to the degrees meant but I never really took the time to find out. I've learned that the R means the planet was retrograde at the time of my birth and this affects my birth chart.

Sun Aquarius 4.31
Moon Capricorn 10.01
Mercury Capricorn 10.59
Venus Capricorn 25.09 R
Mars Sagittarius 26.32

What do you think?

Not necessarily, if you have Mercury retrograde in the natal chart then you're less likely to be affected by those times when Mercury goes regrograde. So I've read anyway!

Wow deivil.

But I did read that it adds a little something to the natal chart. Ah, well.

This means that the energy of the particular planets are focused internally rather than externally. For example, mercury being retrograde means you have a great internal dialog going on that is not being directed externally. Go to skyviewzone.com/astrology/retrogradeplanets.htm for some reading.
