What is its purpose and is everyone's planetary placement different from their natal chart? What is the purpose of the planetary placements in a progressed chart?
Progressive chart

Posted by tizianiAnd what's the differences in the progressed charts that are offered on astro.com?
Birth chart = personality, free will.
Progressed chart = fate.
It's simpler to rationalize the first one, since psychoanalysing ourselves is so popular and a lot of fun (until it isn't). Whereas the second one is pure superstitution, even if eerily accurate for 9 out of 10 charts. They have two different purposes and natures, entirely. You do not "become" your progressed chart, even if the events within it might leave a stronger impression than anything in the birth chart ever could.

Progressed = aspects between your progressed planets alone. I use this one. Some people use both these first two options.
Prenatal moon I can only imagine being useful in the Arabic parts, myself. But I'm sure there are other uses for it. It has to do with your relationship with your parents, especially your mother.
Progressed new moon - I don't know.
Solar arcs is a big subject.
Tertiary progressions = 1 day:1 month whereas secondary progressions (above) are 1 day:1 year. Tertiary progressions move faster. I've never looked at them.
