But my first inclin was gemini, probably on the taurus or cancer cusp (with a libra moon and mars in virgo or cap).

There really is no sign that is smarter than the other.
I only said Taurus out of my experiences with some Tauruses, due to their practicality and sensibility. (it's all perspective)
Saying what sign is smart just works to build up egos. To make people think they are important to something bigger than us

I was discussing this with my mum (pisces) and I thought I would share her opinions. She seemed to think September Virgos but nothing to do with astology, simply because of where their birthdays fell within the school term. In England the new school year starts September 5th and you begin school at 5, if you happen to be a September 1st Libra you will be 6 by the time you start school and have a more developed brain so will take in the information easier, but then again if you are a August Virgo you will be the youngest in your year so you will not turn 6 till the next year. Not really thought enough about that yet to have an opinion on it but did find it interesting.
I think all signs have their own type of intelligence. I think Cancers seem to think they are smarter then they actually are 😛
