Thanks FD; Canada has 2 possible rising signs: Aries (12:00 am) or Libra (12:05 pm). Just by ascendant alone, i'm inclined to believe (Libra rising) is correct. Hence, the very peaceful and physical beauty/image of this country. Though, i'd have to study the rest of the planets more closely. But to me an Aries rising country would give a more aggressive/impulsive kind of image -eg. a country like Iraq.

The birth of the US : July 4/1776 (5:10 pm) Philadelphia, PA
Sun: 13 deg 19' Cancer
Moon: 27 deg 7' Aquarius
Mercury: 24 deg 11' Cancer
Venus: 3 deg 6' Cancer
Mars: 21 deg 22' Gemini
Jupiter: 5 deg 34' Cancer
Saturn: 15 deg 43' Libra
Uranus: 9 deg 47' Gemini
Neptune: 21 deg 55' Virgo
Pluto: 28 deg 9' Capricorn
Ascendant: 12 deg 13' Sagittarius
MC/Midheaven: 0 deg 53' Libra

Astrologers have long debated the correct birth chart for the United States. Date of the Declaration of Independence, generally considered the chart of the U.S. The time has been open to debate for a number of years. One way to get a fix on the Ascendant is to identify the (national image), the projected archetype onto the (global) stage. Gemini and Scorpio being other possibilities; however, 'The Day of Terror' gives a strong argument in favour of the chart with Sagittarius Rising. [Pluto the planet of destruction, transformation, crisis and fundamentalism is within half a degree of the US Sag. Ascendant.] Pluto was last here in 1750s before the Declaration of Independence, so this is an unprecedented experience.

Random facts or significant coincidences: Twins and 911
Is it significant that planets in the dual sign of Gemini and the ruler of Gemini, Mercury [Rising] should be prominent in the demise of the Twin towers?
Is it significant or random that the date is 9-11 - the same number as the US emergency services?

:Signs and degrees of flight are heavily stressed:
The correlation between key planets in the signs of Gemini and Sagittarius and major events involving flight is staggering. Confirmation comes repeatedly from the Wright brother's first flight on Dec. 17, 1903 [Sun, Moon, Uranus in Sag. And Pluto in Gemini] to the recent Concorde air crash [Jupiter in Gemini opposite Pluto in Sag.] Once again these signs are emphasised with a stressful Moon in Gemini and a fundamentally and structurally destructive Saturn [Gem]/Pluto [Sag] opposition on the highly sensitive US Ascendant/Descendant axis.
