I wonder why it's different between astrologers?

Obviously 4 is stronger and likely less common than 3. Stelliums are an emphasis on the characteristics of that sign in ones chart. So at what point does it become an emphasis... 3? 4?

I have two, if it's 3. Scorp and Cap, which also happen to be my rising and sun signs. Yea, the characteristics of those signs are very prominent in me, but its hard for me to say it's because of a stellium.

scorchedearth... do you remember which books?

From what i have read so far, a stellium is simply 3 or more planets in conjunction. Orb limited to 8 degrees. Planets being in the same sign/house doesn't make that much of a difference to me. The aspects to and from the planets have all the power in our chart.

I have 3 stelliums in Capricorn (7th house) and i think the effect they have on me is huge. Neptune is involved in all of those stelliums and it's conjunct to three of my personal planets. They say that Neptune puts a haze on whatever it touches. That's exactly how i feel.

I would say that my stellium, at least, could get easily noticed because i tend to display a lot of Saturnine traits. But that may be due to my planets being placed in a angular house. My best friend's chart is almost identical to mine, the only difference being the way his planets are placed in the houses. We are similar, but he is way more career oriented than me. I don't think you could tell at first sight that out charts are so alike. So i think it really depends of the house the stellium is placed in. A stellium in a cadent house may not be that noticeable compared to one placed in a angular house. But still, I have always wondered how a person with a 12th house stellium would be like?

i have 4 planet stellium in the 5th house (Sun, Moon, Merc, Uranus). 2 other planets occupy the 5th house as well (pluto, jupiter). the asteroid Juno also occupies the 5th house and conjuncts the 4 planet stellium.

how this stellium affects me? well Juno is called the mistress asteroid, nuff said. with the other planets, they are in scorp and sag..i feel both signs when it comes to 5th house activities. play, fun, children, creativity, romance/love affairs, and sex 🙂 i have a lighthearted unconventional and passionate approach to the 5th house activities. a wild spirit! some people would call me reckless or just too much. i think these people are lacking in 5th house placements or have Saturn in the 5th 🙂 i stray away from sad events.

for example, if i were going to play a game...it would be a sexual game littered with trying to find people's secrets and taboos..but it would be fun fun fun.

A prominent fifth house can give you a larger-than-life persona, and make you memorable to others. You'll have a strong need to tell your personal story, and do it in a dramatic way. There's a tendency to go overboard and constantly seek approval. But whatever you do has an authentic stamp, and this makes you attractive to others. A strong fifth house also points to leadership, and qualities of regal bearing, self-respect and general confidence.

i go with the definition... 4 + planets in conjunction in the same house OR sign.

I have read that a stellium is when you have three or more planets in one sign. If this is so, then I have a stellium in Leo (Mercury, Venus and Uranus with Venus and Uranus being in conjunction). Given that I am a Sun-Virgo (and with Sag. rising) I feel that my ambitions have not been matched by my confidence, that my ambitions needed encouragement which they did not get, and that this has held me back. Perhaps I am something like a Leo as I have an overall preponderence of fiery influences on my chart: my ex who was a Sag. and who therefore did not always pull her punches (and who is French)used to sometimes call me a "Leon manque" or "failed Leo" (!) As a matter of fact I was born a week late and so should have been a Leo.

I may have a Scorpio and Libra stellium but I am still a bit confused on what is really a stellium. Is it 3 + planets in conjunction and/or 3 + planets in the same house? just trying to make sure.

A stellium is 3 or more planets in one sign and/or house.

Thanks Mz, so I have a Scorp and Libra stellium. Scorp is also my sun and rising, so I don't know how my stellium should express itself in the world besides common scorp trait.
