I would like to know if these placements are good to have with a significant other. For an emotional sense of a realtionship.
My sun(aries) is on his IC (4th house)
My moon(Cancer) is on his DC (7th house)
His sun( Aqua) is on my MC (10th house)
His moon(Gemini) is my ASC (1st house)
Thanks for any input.

Actually, for an emotional relationship, and from what you've provided, I'm sorry to say no.
Aqua sun in your 10th house, meaning Sagittarius on the 7th? And his 7th house is Cancer, am I getting it right?
Your moon in his 7th house is good for establishing a relationship, but considering your sun sign squares your moon sign and your sun falls in his 4th house of the father and the home (also squaring), it makes things in the emotional sector a little difficult.
So, do you have Leo in the 3rd house while he has it in the 8th?
Anyways, it all depends on the aspects and orbs. But from what you have here:
Sun square 4th house
Moon square 7th house
Moon semi-sextile MC
Moon sextile ASC
His moon in Gemini in your first house means you see him as very intelligent and adaptable to you. Barring any other chart elements to negate this, you might have to shake your perception of him a little to find what is at his core.
Don't know if I helped here. lol
Good luck, though. 🙂

Aw, thanks.
I've studied much Synastry, but at the end of the day- present your best self and work with (not against) the energy slat play and you will reap the most of whatever this relationship/experience has to offer.
I've read about Mars Synastry, but have more personal experience. My mars was right on a guys Asc, Sun, and Venus. He was obsessed with me physically. The energy was a sextile and I felt VERY attracted to him, too. But, I did feel I did illicit a more carnal side of him. My mars aspecting his Venus and in his first house seemed to play out that I was more of the initiator with him strongly desiring me to do so.
Hard aspects are needed in Synastry, too. Challenge equals growth. It's about the right balance for each person's needs. Synastry (which you provided above) is the energy exchange between the two of you- how you affect each other. The composite chart illustrates the energy of the relationship itself, and some say, it's destiny.
With an Aries Sun, it's strongly possible you excuse a masculine femininity. Nothing wrong with that. Check both of your "house overlays" to clarify how you both impact each other in regards to the other planets.
