What are you views on astrology?

What led you to astrology?

Was it spiritual, psychological, self-knowledge, understanding relationships between people?

Something initially peeked your curiosity. For me it was psychologically understanding people and most importantly myself, because although we are so different we are all similar. How do you think this also factors into where you are from geographically, in particular your culture etc.?

Finally how has astrology changed your life and how you interact with people?

My interest is astrology is largely based on understanding myself (self knowledge) and others, (psychology) better. I grew up in an occult friendly family where everybody knew what sun sign they were and everyone talked about astrology. We'd try to guess what signs strangers were by the way their wore their hair, and clothing, the way they held themselves in public and the way they spoke and treated others.

I find astrology entertaining and expansive. I enjoy learning its history and how to employ it to make the most of myself in life, both as an individual and in relation to others.

I got into to it to better understand myself but let me explain my current thinking. My best friend a cancer. Complete chart unknown as she is adopted so no time of birth which can change things drastically in my opinion. Friends for near 30 years now and is married to a Libra guy. His birthday is 2 days before mine which means our charts almost mirror one another. Yet he and I are so very different as in night and day. Obviously I understand that the difference in sexes will play a part, upbringing, experiences in life and so forth. But to have the extent of difference in how we react to the same situation has me boggles. This is how I have come to believe that psychology must play such a huge role... upbringing etc etc

I'd read my horoscope everyday and it would be scary accurate. My friend showed me my birth chart and showed me my boyfriends at the time. I remember she told me my chart was really air-y and she got that vibe when she met me.

I started using it as a way to discover myself. It makes me reflect on my feelings and actions which I didn't really do before. It gives me reasoning to what happens and things that don't make sense.

I started seeing a lot of similarities and it's just intrigued me ever since. I wouldn't say I'm a firm believe in astrology but I enjoy reading about it even if it's not real. I'm not religious or spiritual. I've dabbled in both of those and neither really appealed to me. Astronomy was also an interest of mine since I was a lil kiddo.
