Dominants

What does the dominants tell about our charts? I know our ascendant determines our dominant planet, so does that mean that planet will have a stronger influence on us or something like that?

I have Libra rising so my dominant planet is Venus which would make my Venus "weight more" in some aspects than my Sun or Moon?? I have Aqua sun and i feel like my Venus Pisces messes up things a bit cos it makes me more emotional and I'm not so detached and aloof.

My boyfriend has mostly water in his chart and Cancer Sun, Scorpio Moon and he has Taurus Ascendant. But he doesn't seem so emotional and I think it's because of his Venus in Virgo?? It's weird because I'm usually the one who doesn't care, is detached and doesn't have strong feelings but he seems to be more than me lol probably why i liked him so much but yeah.

I'm so confused pls help

Not necessarily.

I'm Gemini rising, therefore Mercury is my chart ruler. However, Uranus (Aquarius) is my dominant planet. Mercury comes in 2nd.

Taurus is my Asc. but I'm Mercury dominant.

My ascendant is Gemini and my merc is Aqua. My chart is mostly divided, but I think Aquarius dominates it, not so much of Gemini (gee, thanks for giving me a crippling depression for half of my life). Tbh I think my behavior is mostly affected by my moon than anything.

I think I'm earth dominant, tbh I don't even know anymore no one actually explained anything. And I wasn't asking why I attracted him??

OP, have you done your Pullen chart yet?

You can get your dominant planets from that.

No I don't think I have. I'm genuinely trying to learn more about astrology because I like it so much but I don't know where to start and it seems too complicated and too much lol I'm just always stuck on the basic shit and it's annoying/frustrating. if you or anyone on here could help me out i would appreciate it a lot 8(

You're water dominant...cause libra rising -> venus-> pisces.

I said it's about you attracting someone cause you're a Libra rising and Libras are all about attracting someone....durrrrr....
