Yeah, it's quite strange but somehow it kind of have some truth in it.
My eldest son - Sag moon
My daughter - Cap moon
My youngest son - Libra moon
It surprised me. All of them were pretty accurate. 😄
You give off a very lively and youngish kind of vibe (in a good way) 😄
With the Cap and Sag moon you must be a little bit like my mom for your kids. Dreamy and artsy and into travelling and occasionally more of a child than your children 😄 does that sound about right?

Nice topic, I see this connection as a pattern in male's charts especially.
My Moon is in Cancer, meaning I'm supposed to be best friends with her. But my Saturn is in the 4th house and IC is Aqua, which gives disinterested, aloof and critical parents and indeed they were.

I found myself secretly losing more and more respect for her throughout my early youth. I had to accept that I am the more nurturing of us, and she needs me more often than I do. Our relationship seems to soften up with the years, and she comes to me for advice often. I still don't open up to her though.

Now would the moon of your mother, her rising, her venus, and her sun have anything to do with altering how you perceive her?
Obviously, all other placement influence how we perceive her as a person, like every other human on the planet. The moon, I feel, is more about the "predetermined" relationship to your mother/ her role in your life and the way you perceive her.

ha lol - just to think about this - what sign would be good enough for a Capricorn lol - we are so methodical, logical, practical, solid, secure .... for me, that combined with my double Taurus ... on the earthquakes move me lol - I do have mercury and venus in aries and a mars pisces and some other subtle twists which help or not depending on the circumstances lol

nooo but but...VIRGO and/or 6th house dominant or prominent in the chart will have 1st house moon, or aries moon kind of thing. or strong 1st house. Virgo is a kind of warrior. that is not easily SEEN like aries.

I luckily also have some neptune stuff going on in my chart (and Mars in Pisces too) that soften up my hard Capricorn edges. My dad used to say I have the right balance of rational and dreamy 🙂

also, i'm glad that my son is watery too, which adds a lot of more emotionality. he's so emotional too. i'm super glad for the astrology aspect of it as a parent.

def not easy. she wanted me to fit exactly her image of "perfect", which I was too much of a handful to bother with. she spoiled me materially & often doted on me, but came down on me a lot harder if I fucked up. whereas my cap sun/moon in pisces brother was totally ignored, they even forgot his birthday usually, but they also weren't really strict with him, and let him roam the streets all night, didn't care if he failed classes.
me, I didn't even get a chance to roam about because she had me involved in all kinds of things like piano lessons, ballet, violin, gymnastics. on weekends, studying & extra credit work, which she always bugged my teachers about no matter how well I was already doing. lol. and of course, spa/salon visits & shopping.
I was super jealous of my brother because he was free to do whatever. but he told me recently that he'd always been jealous of me because our mother gave me all the attention. talk about the grass always being greener on the other side.
maybe if my mother was born a few days later she'd be more fair, having a libra moon. 😛
mothers from what I notice give more leniency to sons than daughters. Sons are like they are boys so they are given more freedom? daughters....well they are different, so there is the daughter/mother dynamic that is difficult.
so I understand where she is coming from. but if you have libra in your chart you don't see the gender dynamics so much but more you want to see the fairness. I see this with my cousins who have libra personal planets. they get upset that they don't get to go out much, or later with curfew and the boys get to stay out longer.
then there's the dynamic of son/father and daughter /father too.
