I have to say Taureans - they are extremely strong emotionally and don't let upsets take over their lives. When something pulls them down, they get right back up ... and much stronger than before.

I don't agree with Pisces being emotionally strong .. in fact I would say they are the most emotionally weakest sign of the zodiac and unfortunately tend to have addictive personalities because of that.
Doesn't mean I don't like Pisces, because I do. My son is a Pisces, my ex is a Pisces and my brother (RIP) was a Pisces.

I thought U guys are perpetually depressed and in fact it can last for months or longer. Perhaps U know how to deal with it but does that make U stronger ? Perhaps yes in a way - but I would perceive a person emotionally stronger if he/shez able to manipulate emotions to his/her benefit rather than grapple and conquer it.

Signs with the most emotional power would be the water; Scorpio, Cancer, Pisces. Ideal for the artist, actor, writer, aurator, etc etc ..

Day to day emotional stability - Cap, Virgo, Libra, Taurean moon.

Signs that have a cross-over of emotional stability, yet can be quite passionate or impulsive-sort of hot & cold; Aries, Taurus, Aquarius.

well, from my experience, in times of disaster the ppl i'd go to first, and in descending order:

- scorpio, aqua, cap, virgo, taurus, pisces, and then the rest

But if I have to cast my vote, Sags wins by far.
They are optimistic, not afraid of anything, and forget about setbacks a minute after it happened.

Being a Taurean women surrounded by Piscean men, I totally agree with the 'detach' part of their personilities. And the need to escape the problems without dealing with them head on (as is the Taurean way).

I dont think any sign is particularly "emotionally stronger" than another, but some are better at hiding it than others.
Capricorns are masters of disguise in that department.
However, that doesnt mean its not "goin on" underneath that disguise coz at the end of the day, we're all human.

There's nothing worse than being at Rockbottom, feeling worthless, being constantly down and occasionally contemplating doing something very stupid.
And youve got to go to work everyday, laugh and joke with your workmates like nothings wrong when inside you want to burst into tears or just crawl away and hide from the world.

Hiding, denying and/or ignoring signifies emotional weakness, not strength. All of those actions are indicative of someone who is afraid of emotion and doesn't know how to deal with them...so they just don't.

Not sure of Hercules but you can add Hitler,Pol Pot and Saddam to your list of Taureans with integrity. They are unflappable though - if that can be equated to emotional strength.

While we're at it ... we can add the Buddha who was born on the 10th May 🙂 The master at mastering emotions.

To me, a person with emotional strength is the person who puts up with everyone else's bull shit, but doesn't cause a fuss. They are able to look at the big picture, and they are not blinded by ego. In other words, we would be talking about the signs that take the most shit from others, get walked on, and taken advantage of the most, but either deal with it on their own, let it go or rise above it. We've had that discussion before here. The signs that are often labeled "weak" or "feminine" or whatever, their strength lies in their ability to take on emotional pain, suffering (their own, and that of others) in mass quantities without letting it drag them down. If I had to choose the sign of each element that most often displays the greatest emotional strength, they would be:

Air: Libra
Earth: Capricorn
Fire: Sag
Water: Pisces

((It's funny because I don't know a single Taurean (and I know many) who's autocratic or into power play.))
