Two fixed signs

I would like to hear experiences about two fixed signs being in a relationship and how it has worked or didn't work. I'm talking couples that you know personally (no celebrity couples). Or even if it was your past relationship. Good and bad.

Taurus and Aqua. My parents.

He (aqua) married against his type. She was telling everyone how clever she was when she tricked him into marriage. They stayed together, despite numerous affairs, control-freakiness and a work related 7 years LDR.

When I was at home I thought they had the worst possible relationship. Now I'm not that sure.

The fact that mum was actually Gemini-dominated probably helped. His mum was a Gemini.

haha jk. Yes I am happily with the gemini. We just celebrated her 25th birthday last night with some friends and family.

The reason for this thread is because I know of only one fixed sign relationship (my mom and step dad (both aquarius)) and they seem to be happily stubborn and boring together. I was just wondering where the problems and the successes lay in a relationship between two fixed signs because we are so stubborn...

Oh yes, forgot about Aqua-Aqua. Statistically a very good relationship. Two of my best friends. I noticed they were bickering about the same things over and over, yet found them entertaining. I was the happiest in their home! I didn't think the different opinions would endanger their relationship in any way. Was gutted when their relationship ended, after 10 years and two kids together.

Also, since you haven't got to many replies.........My Aqua's ex first important relationship was with a Taurus and lasted 5 years. There were some parallels to the relationship of my parents. He was kind of "pushed" to asked her to move in with him. She used to phone his boss AND the hotel' reception to check his whereabouts (he had to travel for his job).
