Its all accurate, the question is, for many centuries people have been analysed trough both (or by others), the results are the same, the names can be different. Even Ophiuchus can be right, once more a different name, because the results are out there.
It's just a little confusing bc my planets are in different houses changing between the two.

I don't think there can be any question that Vedic is far more detailed. Accuracy depends on what you are looking for and how you look.

For sure Vedic will be the most likely to cater to whatever questions you're looking to answer in theory, just by the sheer number of techniques it holds, but that's provided you like it and know how to use it, which I never really have. So I went with Western as I can use it far more effectively.
Which would you say is more accurate when it comes to planets and house placements? Because when I check my charts in Vedic there's like 2 different planets that moved up to the next house. The rest is the same. So I dont know really what to make of that. It kind of threw me.

I don't know enough about Vedic houses to say on that side. But keep in mind in Western you have the choice of different house systems too, so your planets can still change houses depending on whether you want to use Placidus or another house system in Western, all the same.

The way I decide what house system is a good fit is by working through the real-life events in the chart holder's life and matching it up with their progressions + outer planetary aspects.

That way it's pretty indisputable. If they can relate the chart to their real life consistently, no problem.

Placidus has worked for me when chart reading 9 out of every 10 times.

Thanks so much for your help! That's what I've been using.

Use the one you think less confusing, I suppose its western, like me for instance, since I didn´t grew up on with vedic side to sense it but most of astrology comes to me comes by intuition.
