I still don't understand this.

If Venus in woman's chart embodies how she behaves in love and her Mars shows what she is looking for in a man. And in man's chart Mars represents how he behaves in love and his Venus tells what he wants in his mate. THEN.

Why do we compare in synastry mainly Venus and Mars aspects instead of:

Venus (her behaviour (when in love)) + Venus (his expectations, needs and wants in a mate)
Mars (his behaviour (when in love)) + Mars (her expectations, needs and wants in a mate)

What seems to be more relevant to you in a synastry when it comes to Venus/Mars dynamic?

To me it makes more sense to look at Venus/Venus and Mars/Mars synastry aspects.

I know. Astrologers write all different kinds of weird things about Venus/Mars compatibility. But This is my version.

In both men and women (at least those women who are in touch with their feelings and desires) your Venus sign tells you what Sun sign you'll find beautiful and attractive. Right away and pretty immediately. That's how it's been in my experience. Every single time I find a man beautiful his chart later turns out to show that his sun is either conj or opp my Venus.

And I guess when you've gotten to know a man more closely, you'll be able to see more of his Mars and if his mars is aspecting your Venus then you will like his body dynamics and find them beautiful and attractive? And his movements and stuff? I don't see why that only would be in sex?

The thing is I don't think I act like my Venus sign in love. I just act like me, my sun sign or whatever. So I don't believe that theory that separates women from men. We're all humans.

Taking your theory into account it might actually explain why I attract a lot of water signs. I've always been into astrology but never really went that deep into it.

As an Aries sun I always wondered why water seemed drawn to me. Having checked out my chart I found I have mercury, Mars and Venus in Pisces and Scorpio rising.

Now knowing this and thinking about your theory on it, it now makes a lot more sense.
