Venus in Gemini= Cheater?

Does having venus in gemini make you a cheater? I've read on several sites that having this placement makes a person want be with alot of people at once? is this true? I have venus in gemini and although i kind of do picture myself with some of my favorite women, i would never cheat on my significant other. I would break it off before i did.. what are your thoughts?

I have two close gfs who have Venus in Gemini and they have both cheated on their significant others (one more than the other). One has been in a long term relationship with her bf for six years and she cheats on him constantly with male FWB. She says the main reason for it is that her bf works constantly (he's a Taurus) and that she enjoys the rush of getting close to someone else..I think people with this placement tend to get bored easily hence they tend to seek new and exciting encounters.

No, not me. I have venus in Gemini & im a Cancer. I think my water placements overshadowed any cheating tendencies. I heard Venus in Gemini prioritize me wanting a smart partner. Or someone who likes a lot of different things. Now I have ended things if I was being treated unfairly. Im actually the one scared of losing my partner or them cheating on me. I also like to have fun but I want my partner to enjoy their time with me. So you have to look at the persons chart to determine if they got an air or fire moon that goes with that Gemini venus. That would increase the chances of that person cheating. I got Scorpio Moon, Mercury in Cancer that affects my Venus sign

She has a Fire moon so that may be a contributing factor.

The ones I know have. Same for venus in sag. Venus in aqua, hit or miss

Guess what, my leeb ex with scorpio moon, mercury, venus and mars in virgo and he cheated on me I thought it was just once but I found out later on there were others. So what am I gonna blame now, he has Libra sun so that makes him a cheat— Riiiiiiiiiiiiight!

These are all just tendencies, doesn't matter what the placements are.

They don't always cheat, the more "honorable" ones will just ditch u first when bored with you so that they can hit it with someone new.

I agree. I have my Venus in Gemini (which happens to be in the 8th house *rolls eyes*), but I feel it is subdued alot by my Sun, Moon and Mars all being in Cancer. I don't have more than one relationship going at a time, but being mentally stimulated (as well as the other stimulations) is important to me. I don't want to be bored and thinking 'What if?'

However, being the Cancer that I am, I'll cling and ride the relationship to the wheels fall off. Nowadays, I do think I should listen to my cerebral Venus placement more to avoid wasting my time and energy on a woman. Overall, I rather leave than to cheat. I wouldn't want to screw up someone's faith & trust in relationships like that.

What I'm more curious about is what placements or aspects make you more susceptible to play the role of the 'other woman'?? Because I have been the side piece before; knowingly and unknowingly. :-\

@Tavrine i do have a Leo Rising, but to me cheating is a Choice a person makes, not a mistake. @bananaonionjuice post explains it better than me. I know if im not happy with someone, i rather end the relationship, than stay & cheat.

@Fenyx215 You explained it great in terms us Cancers with this placement. At first i thought it was a bad thing, but really it's not. I do kinda place an importance on communication & that mental connection. Like voice communication is very important to me. If it's lack of that, than things can be tough. I do feel my water dominates in certain areas like you. So i wouldn't let it bother me. There's other things to worry about

i know. my husband's good friend is a loyal guy with his woman and he's got a gemini venus.
