Which zodiac sign has the worst reputation?

and why? what's true and what Not so true?
I know as scorpio we have many . They think we are evil and sex freaks which so not true 🙂
but personally Gemini are infamous for being two faces because of their split personalities. I can't comment more on that....I'll leave it to the Gems

I used to work with the most asexual (but straight) Scorpio guy ever. Sex appeal = zero. Go figure.

truth is, people can be a little of both (if you're influenced by other signs/ planets) and that's why a lot of the reason a certain sign has bad press ! and ofcourse, the stories people tell others.

i think sagittarius, a lot of people are "scared" of them and judgemental because of their free, light hearted and fun side . . . that you can't connected with them emotionally. but saying that, i also say scorpio, for obvious reasons. i think most everyone will say scorpio, for obvious reasons again. LOL😆 🙂

if you think about it, all sign stars, because sometimes they aren't measured up to what they "should" be. i like that, because then i'd get on with everyone (i do anyway).

I'd have to say Scorpio first because in some ways they can be "over-rated" simply because they are "Scorpios" & in worse cases, under-rated to those who don't believe in all the mumbo-jumbo about them until it hits them in the face! 2nd to that would be Gemini for their 2-faced nature. Sorry Gems, but that's how I see it

And there are 1 million ways a person can have a BAD reputation...They could have a bad reputation through sex (Scorpios because they can't ever seem to keep their zippers up), through being promiscious (Geminis), through bullying other people or looking down on others to the point that they are considered offensive (Leo because the other name for their mind is also called their EGO), through violence or physical betraying of others (Aries because they can be quite overly aggressive & temperamental), through being too naive to the point that others always have something bad to say about them and the decisions they make (Pisces because they always seem to make bad choices & want everyone to fix their problems for them), through being too cold hearted to the point that others either completely fear you or constantly try to test you out to see if you are what others say you are (Aquarians because we're always battling the negative intellectual comments others have to say about how we think), etc. You get my drift

Virgos & Capricorns seem like the LEAST likely to have bad reputations. They are such perfectionists & care too much of how others think of them & most of the time they make their decisions based upon their morals versus pressure from other on how they OUGHT to be. Plus they both can be so dull & down right boring but yet interesting (in an innocent way) all in one...You never hear about Virgos killing people or being the town sluts. And you never hear about Capricorns being the school bullies or neighborhood doorknob

True but then again the word REPUTATION deals with what others can actually SEE. IF the question was, "what sign is most likely to get away with or be evil deep down" I would have a different response...But reputation is something others can see & observe. Sure, Virgos might be evil deep down but if they don't show these qualities to the average person then they can't be labled as having a bad rep. versus a Scorpio who is most likely to show their true colors no matter WHO is watching or observing...And since Scorpios are more flamboyant in showing who they really are, it's easier to put them into that "reputation" category

Well of course there ARE some Virgos in existance who are town sluts but they are not the FIRST ones to come to mind when you think about which sign is the most likely to be a town slut. Sure, there's plenty of Virgos who can't seem to keep their zippers up but if someone asked me to identify the sign that comes to mind FIRST when discussing town sluts, Virgo would probably be the LAST one I'd mention. I would have to say capricorn ,because they are often described as cold , gloomy and materalistic . Astrologers are particularly hard on them because of their seriousness and many astro sites have people say they hate cappies etc . Saturn is their ruling planet so yeah the poor blokes have it pretty rough . virgo is a close second for many of the same reasons they are always depressed .

i think leo's have a really bad reputation. so many people think "arrogant, pompous, braggart, egotistical, snobbish" and so on when they think leo, and that's just really unfortunate because they'll never get to know how chill and humble we are when we are in a very trusting relationship, and how we desire to please people who care about us.
it's not a very fun label to carry around...

I would say scorpios have the worst reputation and it seems virgo males do too (on this site at least), however, I also think scorpio females and virgo males are totally not deserving of their bad reputations (scorpio males, now that's a different story 😉 you scorpi-hoes you)...

Scorpio Females: They may be secretive and very sexually charged (to put it lightly), but once they mature and grow, they can be some of the most fun-loving people you'll ever meet. My great aunt is a 60 year old scorpio who acts like a 20 year old. She's happily married, still sexual, and absolutely hilarious

Virgo Males: Seems a lot of people on here dont like them but I've always found virgo males to be so unique and actually quite funny in their own strange, awkward way.

Lot of Sagg's I know have those big mouths that say some f*cked up stuff sometimes. If I didn't know them well and for so long I'd be one pissed off bull.

Aries and Aquarius

To be more specific, Aqua dudes have a horrible rep. The girls could get away with murder. It's not fair, but meh, we can handle it.

There's definitely more than one that get bad reps. I hear bad things about basically all the signs despite Libra.
Aries - their short tempers
Taurus - greedy as fuck
Gemini - all over the place in many aspects
Cancer - sooooooooooo sensitive, clingy
Leo - ego
Virgo - pessimistic, hypocritical
Libra - flirtatious? that's about the only bad thing I hear about Librans o.e
Scorpio - manipulative, controlling, etc
Sagittarius - players to the max
Capricorn - serious, apparently 'miserable', although I've met many Caps that are awesome!
Aquarius - deceivers
Pisces - 'too dreamy'...lol, I don't really get it myself...under achievers, maybe? Dream to the point of not doing anything with reality?

@Sickle and others: I think the "Virgo (and Capricorn) pessimism" thing is a vicious circle unfortunately: I think that we tend to have emotionally-deprived upbringings which lodges a certain unhappiness and insecurity inside of us which others then pick up on and react against, making things worse. But if you are willing and able to be honest and patient with us I think you will bring out the best in us.

Gemini, Virgos

As a scorpio woman, I can definitely agree on the fact that we get a lot of bad rep. There's also a lot of raised eyebrows and horrified expressions from people who had some bad experience with scorps. But I love it. It makes it even more fun to win the haters over 😉 I also don't get why virgo men have such a bad rep. I have 3 experiences with men with either virgo sun or strong virgo asc, and I must say that they are all wonderful people that I admire and get along with perfectly.

In my vicinity, it's gemini girls who "enjoy" the bad rep. I only know two, so it's hard to judge from my personal viewpoint. But the complaints seem to point in the direction of having a scene making shrew as one of their twin aspects.

Another unpopular combo would be aries men. They can be perceived as dumb sex maniacs, due to their short tempers and passion in many aspects of life.

Cherryontop...I agree here. Although, I think the gems that gossip and spread rumors are the younger, undeveloped/un mature gems...once we evolve, or mature that really goes out the door....at least it did for me.

What I don't get is that while many would say we are gossipy and backstabbing, people will generally RUN to a gem for counsel and advice...go figure.
