Although Sun Tzu's Art of War, Machiavelli's The Prince and Robert Greene's 48 laws of power are greattttttttttttttt read. They are not practical nor can you execute their principles unless you are cold-hearted.

They are not practical nor can you execute their principles unless you are cold-hearted. Most times it is better to be loved than to be feared. Marcus Aerelius is an exemplary character who proved that it is possible to be loved and have your subordinates or other people abide by your wishes. You can be a pied-piper.
I have another book that contrasts with these types of genres. You might want to check it out. It's called Peak of Eloquence. I think it beats all 3 books.
