The art of fighting is to subdue the enemy without fighting?

Dafaq? How the dafaq I'm gonna do that? But for real has anyone ever read the art of war? Just ordered the book give me some opinions on what you took from the book.

I think you can read this book for free on gutenberg.org , or any other site that hosts copyright free books, so no need to buy. Regarding the book itself, I'm not sure you will be able to learn a lot from it, but I wish you fun reading it.

Omg the art of war!!!

When you see someone for the first time use it, you realise how fucking amazing it is. I would love to learn the techniques.

I have this friend who is a pain in the ass, he is so easily triggered, you can't critique him because he's on medication for depression he is super defensive, he also loves to outstay his welcome and will wait until the weed bowl is empty before fucking off....Sometimes I can't help myself and I can be really mean to him because he pisses me off with his bullshit and I just let him have it, thing is when I get him worked up it has its toll on me and i get stressed out over it, I literally feel like I've aged a year.

So moving onto my point.....

I met this awesome man who is just the loveliest guy in the world! And he can tell anyone he wants to fuck off and they will and he didn't even have to say "fuck off"

A lot of times when we decide to get into battle we bring ourselves down to their level, but what this guy did was none of that! We were at his house party and we were drunk and my friend was there and he was giving everyone the shits by being there and said guy diffused him and made him leave and there wasn't even a drama!!!

You need to be outside the battle....it's so weird

I never read the book, but tbh I've never been in an actual fight. I've been able to talk my way out of 100% of every situation while looking tough and not backing out like a little bitch. Its all about knowing what you want, and knowing how to say it in a way your opponent will understand. You almost have to mentally become your opponent in a sense.

A good example is once when I was a teen a neighbor had a rottweiler that was known for biting people. It would chase all the kids who would ride past the house on their bikes and everyone was terrified of it. I was riding past the house once and the dog ran at me, but instead of trying to go faster I jumped off my bike and started to walk. The dog ran up to me barking and put my hand down. It smelled my hand, then walked to the side of the road, barked a bit more. then walked off.

The same works for humans but with words, or the lack thereof even. Powerful smart humans are intelligent enough to know never underestimate an opponite, because those same humans were the lesser being in the circumstance that made them powerful in the first place. The more powerful force will always bark, but never make the first move because they are smart enough to never judge a book by its cover. This is why words will always let you win, because actual powerful forces are smart enough to not make the first move, which is their weakness.
