Cancer Male/ Taurus Female

Hello- I am new to the site and want to run a story by you and what to make of this union- if anything. I will make it quick..

My best friend that I've known for 14 years (she is about 25 years older than me) 10 years ago I met her son who is a cancer and he is 6 years younger than me.. when we first met he was always trying to kiss me etc but I was not into it cause he was so young to me at the time! We've stayed friends over the years..and 4 years ago he met a girl and they have been together since then. They don't live in the same state as me. They broke up a year ago and he came out to visit his mom who lives 15 min from me.. so well we all hung out. Him and I got together that evening and one thing let to another.. I was so embarrassed to tell his mom but I did and she was over the moon.( she wants us to end up together) Anyway, he ended up getting back with his ex. So fast forward to 2 weeks ago he called his mom and was asking about me and if im with anyone etc. Mind you, I am incredibly close with his mom ( we talk everyday) so he does go to her to ask about me..My friend also has expressed that she wants us to end up together and she will pray that we do lol.. So last night my friend calls me to tell me that he ended the relationship for good and is coming out in 2 weeks... it didn't even take 24 hours since the break up for him to reach out to me to ask how I am doing and to tell me of this break up.

Do you smell a rebound? Or not so much due to our history and my relationship with his mother.

Rebound. Men and women need to seriously cool it before they jump into new relationships. I don't understand why people need to replace a person with another so quickly. Such an unhealthy way to be.

Rebound for sure. Not to say it can't lead to something down the line, but they need a lot more than 24 hours to truly move on. Take it with a grain of salt, and like Aquarius09 said, cool it. It'll save you some heart ache in the longrun to keep a level Taurus head with a cancer man!
