It's difficult for a cancer to do long distance relationships. As you said they like to touch and feel, sex is a big part of the bond.
What would be okay for you? Say you could see each other twice a week? We're a little over an hour away... I don't think that's so bad, but maybe because I'm hoping it's not.

Just hypothetically - okay, so you're the Cancer in the relationship - if you traveled for extended work trips (3-4 months one-two times a year), what would you expect your relationship to be like?

Your situation seems different because the reason for not able to meet is the Cancer's own situation. I would think he may want to spend a lot of time together whenever he is around.
