he's seven year older than i , he chased me for the last 6years , reason i was declining because he was having complications with his girlfriend and he just wanted emotional support added with " doing the do " from time to time, some months back he suggested again we hook up so me figuring i can handle us by just ignoring all my emotions, i approved .... nope , can't , soo i pulled away (( not knowing is he trying to seriously pursue us )), and of course he disappeared for a bit . . . . after his isolation about two weeks ago he called me suggested twice within that 15 minutes i listen to those songs in which i've done and much like you im like wtf , sooo now im here asking for some insight, i don't really want to ask him is he trying to hint to something because if not good then im going to feel crushed knowing that they can mean just what they are, " SONGS ",
p.s : did he have a girlfriend since our recent encounters ?? NO!!

(( he's a strange one , a week ago he was conversing with a female and he noticed my sister passing by, he walked away from the girl leaving her standing alone, lol i dont understand the reason behind that action when him and i are no longer involved , * wondering * ))

Okay I don't know your Cancer but,the songs that he suggested you listen to are his way of telling you he is or was pretty scattered
(emotionally)it would seem. There's a chronology to the songs, and I think it's His way of putting together a musical montage of the relationship. The Kelly Rowland song is his way of reminiscing about the intimacy you two shared. The same can be said for the The Katy Perry song, but also a way of saying that he's pretty lost in you. I don't know if he's really that far, but maybe 😛. The last song , the piece by Adele is him being pretty distraught over this thing ending and maybe even a little bitter. Although the fact that he contacted you is his way of not giving up on what you two have. Maybe in the end this was also the range of emotion he may have experienced during that 2 week period of Isolation . Cancers tend dwell on past events examining them in most meticulous of fashions. In the end I feel it's his way of trying to communicate the nuanced intricacies of the emotional roller coaster your cancer has been on. He's hoping that these songs will evoke the same feelings and stir a bit of nostalgia with you. He chased you for 6 years he is or was super serious about you. I mean you practically course through every fiber of this guys being.I don't know too many other reasons for waiting around that long.

It's a shot in the dark, I could be way off base, but maybe that's what he meant by all that .

My cancer friend does the same thing...always tells me to listen to songs (actually he just mention two of them today) I don't make a big fuss over what it means or doesn't mean...honestly who knows but him.

although one time he was showing me a bunch of songs (all screaming stuff) then all the sudden played whitesnake..is this love....I'm still not sure about that one LOL

that's really interesting that he's doing this.. those songs besides the adele one don't seem very deep but to him they could have a secret meaning. everytime we're driving my cancer dj's with my ipod and he'll play things like "i'm all yours" by metric, "your touch" by the black keys, "time is running out" by muse... i wonder if he's trying to tell me something by those songs lol

Seems like what you two have is a bit complicated to say the least and girlfriend or not there must be some significance to keeping you around . The whole I need you things is because he no longer has you , I would guess. The mind games and stuff sound crappy for any guy and is a bit childish (red flag). I agree with you if really wants something or feels something he should let you know, put the ball in your court so to speak. As with cancers though we're not very direct about things we will circle around the matter a few times maybe even getting close enough to address the subject in a manner that is meant to not arouse conflict or uneasiness, but then right back out to the conversational outskirts. If he's comfortable with you he should be able to just tell you what's on his mind. Note for fear of further rejection or any other sort of negative consequence that may arise is one reason why he may be going about all of this. I'm curious though you're a Pisces correct? You can empathize with some of these things he may be experience he may be trying to connect on a more unspoken level. I can say that this is true for the Pisceans in my life we may not always see eye to eye but there's a general unspoken consensus we share. Its a special kind of connection that you can't find so readily outside of water signs.

PRESTO PNOKIO , that connection ii do feel and he feels the same he stated , we were pretty close then I don't know what happened , ii was receiving texts everyday from him and because I rarely initiate contacting him first he felt some type of way, (( ii have issues with reaching out to men first I rather them contact me , i don't know why this is , its just is , and for cancers to crave / love attention that sucks on my behalf 😢 )) , first day we hooked up he was like an extra hyped monkey all over the place in my apartment , but the visits afterwoods when he noticed I wasnt interested in seeing him like others viewed him he then calm that down and we had more open conversations with him telling me how much he loves my company and ii make him feel like he can be himself, etc , ii mean come on man why play this nonchalant role?? what for ?? MEN

will a woman that's stronge minded / independent scare a cancer man away because they " need " to feel needed??

songs are very personal to EVERYONE. it's easy to want to dissect and analyze anything that is suggested or played in front of you. i've made compilation cd's...mixtapes (um, 1980's-1990's) for specific situations and times related to certain people. give me a break...like you've never done it? after a bad breakup, an amazing day, or something monumental in your life? it's a lot easier to have someone else express your feelings through song than composing it yourself. what the fuck is an ipod for anyway? it's all PERSONAL music relating to PERSONAL things that happen in your life. she can analyze this all she wants...it means something to him and at some point, she'll ask or he'll tell her about it. sheesh people...
