So personally, I've noticed that when I love someone, I'll respond to their mesages immediately (unless I don't have my phone with me or if I turn it off) any other message gets a response when I have something to say. That might be 3 days or a few months. And yes, I do screen my calls and I don't use instant messaging apps. I prefer emails or telephone conversations.

Text back in the manner that seems natural to you. If you guys are sexting, it should be fairly quickly. If he just said good morning, then something like that can wait awhile, especially if he knows you're at work, or running errands or whatever. But if you're holding off on a response to tease him or something like that, he WILL know, and he WONT like it.
It is all about reciprocation with Cancer males.
