Say they are deeply in love with someone

they will remain in contact with this person, but not initiate hang outs, and end up moving states.

In a nutshell, why would a cancer love from a distance, but never make the love a reality.

Please don't ask for personal details in this post, I'm after a general answer 🙂

A Cancer loves from the distance only because they either know for a fact it's not going to work out between them.

They are prune to fear getting hurt, so they try as much as they could to forget their feelings for that individual.

What is there more to say? That could be the only cause without any more further details. People doesn't need to know to know the whole story, just see the perspective of why they would do such a thing, it's not complex.

This.

And for my own personal answer reason that I would say I'm in love but only love from a distance is

I knew the person was a liar, cheater or emotional unavailable

And I didn't wanna be hurt...

Honestly, cancers aren't ones to just make change like that unless we're going through something and need a fresh start, or it's been something well thought about. Either way, if a cancer truly loves someone/something we let it be known through words and action. A cancer isn't likely to move away from something they truly love and care about in a relationship sense. Just saying.
