Cancers can be cold

When someone plays with our emotions, we can be oh so cold towards that person. We can detach like no other being and act like that person don't even exist no more. It's a trait I don't like but it's in a cancerian's nature.

We put up with a lot before detaching ourselves though. At least I do.

Some people think I'm intimidating, but I'm so sensitive, if they only knew.

When it comes to love, I get into trouble because I love with EVERYTHING I have and if I don't get the same, then I will retreat.

I feel you, I'm exactly the same. As I've grown through the years I've become more conservative with the women I meet. I try not to get ahead of myself unlike a few years past I would go hard right from the get go. We are stubborn AF when it comes to love and like you said if that significant other doesn't match our love we vanish.

You probably upset her without you even knowing or you probably gave her an indication that you were not interested in her. That's probably what made her become distant towards you.

Right on, I love it! What I don't like is that as cold as we can act it's a struggle to shield our emotions. As I've got older though I been better at composing myself and play things smooth as if nothing is bothering me.

I love hard and give friendships/ relationships all I’ve got. And I will put up with so much of someone’s BS but once I’m pushed to a certain limit, I become very cold and my heart becomes closed to that individual. I’ll forget they even exist. And I won’t feel bad about it because that doesn’t happen unless they push me there.
