cancers in love - will you show the world?

the cancer man i know (sorry lol) has been recently sharing lots of his photos of his girlfriend. Almost every second thing he expresses on social media is his girlfriend. I have noticed that his girlfriend has not reciprocated this. Not one photo has been posted of him.
is this a sign of a cancer man expressing his love, or is he trying to build his ego in front of everyone? because I know and have seen on numerous occasions him still flirting and grabbing attention from girls who aren't his gf.
Im curious to understand what can drive a cancer. will he only do this sort of thing when he has real admiration and respect, or are there other things that will drive a cancer venus and sun to this behaviour?

My Cancer dude doesn't post anything really. However, whenever I meet new family or friends they are like "We've heard sooooo much about you."... Social media is not his cup of tea.
