First Time Dating a Cancer Male!

Hi, this is my first post here, have read this site on and off so thought it would be a good place to ask for advice.

I met a cancer male recently born in June but do not know his rising I am pisces female with sagittarius rising, we had our first date last weekend. We were supposed to meet again yesterday but he said he needed to reschedule for work(I believe this) so he asked my plans for the weekend and I offered Saturday. He seemed happy about it in message, smileys and all. I texted today asking if he had an idea of what to do tomorrow, he is new in town so wanted to see if he wanted to see something specific. He hasn't responded to me yet more than five hours, this is something I'm not used to.

We had a nice time last week, he was polite and fun. I showed him around town going to a few places. I spent the night at his, maybe not the best idea but it happened. He made sure to hold me at night and in the morning, sweet. In bed he said it was a while since he was with anyone else after a relationship ending. He was also cute with me when leaving. I texted the next day to thank him and he did not reply. I saw him on messenger that night and said I had a nice time but I understand if you aren't interested and wished him well. He replied saying he had a long day and wanted to see me again. Because of that last interaction, I don't know what to do about him not being responsive today. I have a hard day tomorrow and it would be nice to hear from him so I have something to look forward to for later.

I would appreciate some guidance on how to positively interact with him. I like him and want to know him better. I don't want to be that girl and message again but I do want to know about plans.

You might want to pull back a bit for several reasons.
Let him approach you. And don't be a booty call.

We have a date planned for tomorrow and I texted to see what we were doing but he did not answer

If you wanted sex, then there is nothing to regret.
If you wanted a relationship then you should have focused on that, first.
Unfortunately in many cases, having sex so quickly blocks the evolution of a relationship.
Hopefully, he can see beyond that.

I do not see it as just sex, I see it as not an issue to have if I feel something behind a kiss or touch. He kissed me and it felt nice, he was fun. If someone kisses me and I do not feel anything for them it does not go further

I might be new here but I can still see when someone is trying to troll me
