How to slow down an overemotionel Cancer??

Hi I am a libra 24 sept just met a cancer ten days ago and the relation as I tell him " fastest relation I have ever had in my life!!" wich is true we talked one day in a chatting room and it seemed we were in the same hotel in a resort so we decided to meet the second day!! yeah!just for a chat coz we both were alone in vacation ..shortly..we texted all night after that meeting on the beach second day he is holding my hand and looking in my eyes deeply after one week he kissed me !!! please don't get jealous, lol coz that was like a hurricane that overwhelmed me for one week of phone calls and msgs every 30 mns , my lord I feel I was kidnapped and don't get time to think about the direction of the relation , is extremley fast..

sorry for telling too much details .. here is the problem.. now when I try to back off and tell him I need some time to think he starts to cry !!! yes !! and I cry coz he makes me so emotionnel wich is not libra's way ..anyway I started to feel that I hurt him alot with my frank talk of mind when I tell him that I am scared of this fastest relation I ever had..

Is cancers sexual partners? coz I feel that he is rushing to get me to bed I don't know !! help!!

It's sure I will not sleep with him before marriage ( I am classic conservative libra) and I told him that from the third day coz my religion prohibt that and he accepted and says that he understands that.. and now he is talking about marriage later..it's too early anyway..what's really weird I feel he is really fall in love coz we talk everynight more than 4 hours( don't think that he doesn't have life, actually he is in one big position in a company)sometimes I push him to close to sleep but he tells me that he likes to tell me all about him..he is love is kind of baby and his mum...

anyway I canceled one meeting with him in this weekend and he become so sad and dark on the phone and I told him that our relation might be from distance for a while and he was ok! he is so patient dono if this is part of the bed game or is he really in love with me ..uhhhh my mind is full of questions ..I know libra's mind does not stop thinking till to feel the balance and get the comfortable answer!

Quite honestly I'm surprised it has taken him a week to want to sleep with you. Being both a Cancer and have dated a few. Generally, if the attraction is there, it doesnt take a week to do anything, unless it takes that long to see one another again haha

I can say though, try not to be brash. That may be what is hurting his feelings. And be honest, in a kind manner. He should understand. Where are his other placements? His Moon or Asc may be in the waterbaby trio making him more tenderhearted as well.

I can't speak for Waterboy, but I would lean towards the way you answered him in your responses. Kinda snotty like. You seem kind of full of yourself, which to me seems strange for a Libra. NO offense, in all seriousness. Hard to decipher directness vs. full of yourself over a 'puter.

Where are his other placements? His Moon or Asc may be in the waterbaby trio making him more tenderhearted as well.

I am kind of new to the zodiac world so don't know what is his placements he is 13 july ..btw he is a matured cancer 39 years old.. but he is a real baby in love even the voice..I am trying to slow down the story by getting busy on him and not answering all his calls but it seems it hurts him like hell ...

Unfortunately I was not snotty at all but so directed with him in a nice coz I know that cancer is senstive (my best friend sign) , but I beleive that the mistake I did was being a genuine libra and indulge and tolerate his over emotional way so much and made him more attached to me ..I had to underline the direction of the realtion from the begining coz his emotions towards me was like a hurricane and I felt I will get lost in him ....cancers are emotionelly so deep in a scary way!!!!

It may be the way you write, but if you come across to him the way you are writing, you seem full of yourself or snotty like. If feels like you feel that you are doing him a favor by giving your presence in his life. Such as saying 'real baby in love' If you said that to me, like that, I would find you insulting. Does that make sense?

It would be interesting to see the rest of his placements.

One thing though, dont coddle him and dont baby him. He will think he can have his way all of the time, if you allow him to always win your affections just because he 'cries and pouts'. We can be very manipulative.

what should I do when he starts cruying!?? he is so stressing on my feelings...

What you can do, is now take each of those placements and study up on them. Like take for instance his Moon is in Sagitarius. You google: Sagitarius Moons .... or however you want to word it. If you go to cafeastrology.com and you look around a bit, you will see that you will get a description for each one of those placements. It may help you better understand it.

Now, I dont know much about those placements outside of the fact that I have a Sag Moon. I'm trying to decide if I would become emotional, and should I, is it the moon rather the sun that makes me that emotional over a love interest. Or, could it be a combination. Now, my reaction to someone I have been in a relationship with, that I feel 100% comfortable around and with? Yes, I would. So I would sense he really finds a connection with you.

But, if he is trying to get into your bed, he may be throwing out the sentiments so that it will make you 'cave'. Dont cave. Please. Stick with your standards. But, we will have to figure out a way for you to tell him that he has to stop making YOU feel bad when his feelings are hurt. He doesnt sound mature. But too, I understand that it may be natural for you to feel bad, etc. and not necessarily him saying or doing things to 'force' you to feel sorry for him.

Thanks a lot for your help deepocean..I will try to study his placements later as I don't have enough time now..but I started to feel that Cancer and libra is not a good match as for the cancer is extremely sensitive in a suprprising way

I like to be straight all the time and to be clear ( from my point of view I am not harsh doing this ) but cancer find my way hard and dry as he said 😢( that was because of the physical subject again ( coz he told me on the phone that he can't wait to our next meeting to kiss me and touch me and in my mind I started to feel unsafe..coz I always have in mind the nightmare that this relation is all about bed! so I answered him that I just want to sit and talk no more than that.. he started his silence and then pushed me away " I need to sleep now " and it was so early to sleep 😢


Anyway I am starting to feel that he is so controling ..I just don't need any shallow relation in my life I have had enough and I need no more hurt .. I feel so sad that he is being cold with me now and starts to act differently 😢(

The ptoblem now is that I miss him 😢 he was like a baby ( real one) I wa taking care of him..but I need to control this chaos of emotion that he left..but tonight he ended the conversation with " let's stay freiends since u feel that this relation was fast!!"

In love then in friendship in 2 weeks relation!!!.. I knew he will make me crazy at the end.. but I need to control this chaos now and put myself together..I am not sure about this friendship what it will bring..let's see.

Yeah yeah, just give yourself some time. Distance yourself, and you'll know then if you miss HIM or you miss the chaos he was bringing into your life. It was something different, and at first the attention made you feel good that you were making him feel good ... And that he made you feel good, or important to him as well 🙂

Ive heard often that we Cancers do leave a lasting impression on other's 'hearts' ... when I stopped to think about it a few years ago, I guess I realized people that Ive dated have always at some point have come to me and expressed that in some form or fashion of me having been in their life.

So if it is meant to be, it will be. Just dont cave ... stick to your morals and standards, and dont give into his 'antics' .. be true to yourself ... always 🙂

Actually he is crying for 2 days now and is really killing me coz I love him..I should confess I become so weak when he cries and I told him today that I am sorry and I will not leave him again ..,
I am not sure about what to do.. I feel pity for him and I dont know now how
to take distance from him ...it become attached.,,
He called me from his work and was crying for the first time in front of his employees.. I told him I will not leave him so he stoppes crying ... ahhhh I feel lots of load on my feelings ...

and really workaholic coz he said that he was burned too many times by his friends that 's why he trust me so much and tell me everything..

I tried overly emotional coz I find my cancer is extremley senstive and open heart in his conversation wich is something is deeply appreciate in men but since I am not the same "extremely senstive" I feel overwhelmed and confused how to deal with this this hurricane of emotions wich I am not used to see with other men..

I am sure cancer are different.. coz I was with stubborn signs before like aries and scorpio and they had the arrogance to show their feelings may be that's why I am surprised by the sincerety of feelings of my cancer and I doubt it's a certain technique " manipulative way to control my feelings " ..


But still I can't take any impression about all cancers from one man I can't generalize and also our relation is fresh and I didn't figure out much of him yet..

Sorry Egyptian that I didnt get to this, I hadnt realized you posted. Im sorry, I forget that our analogies or phrases aren't always or necessarily world wide, and vice versa. 🙂 Here's the best way I can think to explain what I meant with those two things.

"Dont cave" means dont give in/do it/or break down and 'just do it'. Meaning don't give into to him. Or do something just because you feel bad that he feels bad, or that you feel guilty in anyway for staying true to yourself.

"Dont give into his antics" again means the same thing. Meaning, if you feel he is being manipulative or overly emotional just to get you to do what he wants, do not do it just to make him feel better or again if you feel guilty.

Antics definitions is: Foolish, outrageous, or amusing behavior.

WBC, I think it was this thread where I had mentioned not to give in because sometimes we can be manipulative imho.

That may too be where possibly/why she is saying, or maybe seeing what she feels could be deemed/labeled that way or in her thoughts?

I say only possible. Cuz very seldom are we if ever overly emotional, internalize our feelings, let alone manipulative--- So unlike us 😛
