Why are we supposed to care?

I think the thread was meant from an astrological perspective, not "oh look at this celebrity divorce."

when I heard about it I instantly wanted to know (if wanting to know anything at all) what the hell they were like astrologically, because they never seemed ideal to begin with, so.

makes sense why he's crushed. never knew she was a sag, she doesn't come off as such.

You are correct 🙂 I did want to know astrologically speaking if anyone had any thoughts or insights into this pairing both in terms of what might have drawn them together in the first place and why it didn't work.

I was actually going to clarify this immediately, but then dxp stopped working (at least for me) for most of the day.

He needs to get a good Aries chick. Obviously I don't know them but their relationship always seemed a bit weird to me........like she was just using being Mrs Tom Cruise to enhance her career.

When I think 'fire sign' I think me....Aries.....fire and brimstone type fire, but there's no blazing bonfire in Katie's front yard.....her fire is all Sag (it's my world - you're just in it) and Leo.
More like an oil heater....quiet, quiet, nothing, very calm, then a gaddawful mess when it blows up with no warning.

exactly my point. to answer Fortunate's question, I don't even know what she comes off as, I never got a vibe, but nothing fire related ever came to mind... but ReallyNice made a good point; my mom's triple fire too-- she's probably a big time crabby dragon when she's in a mood...!

Tom seems like he wants to be married, needs a partner, falls in love. I can tell he really loves Katie too. Probably had a huge fight, with Katie crying her eyes out, or either fuming. So she can't take it and filed. Fairytale marriages kind of thing, then poof, if it's not an easy road, or even a road with a few humps, it's time to pack it up.
His previous marriages, from looking through them, the first wife wanted more "sex" and he wanted to become a "monk": probably his excuse for wanting out. His illusion shattered (Jupiter in Pisces?), and 10 year marriage to Nicole? Most people say it was his fault because she still loved him (Nicole), or would have stayed with him. Then ...now, his marriage to Katie seemed like a dream come true for him. Even a beautiful little girl to boot.
Katie has clusters of planets in both Sag and Leo. Tom has a lot in Leo. Not enough restriction (saturn) to keep them going when times get rough. Maybe? Perhaps they have more in their 10th house.
