PLEASE HELP ME ! iM SO CONFUSED ABOUT THIS CANCER

Hello ! Im new here. I need some advice about my Cancer Crush. Im so confused & dont know what to do. Well here goes ( Sorry the story is so long ) I have a childhood friend that ive known since age 6. We are NOT Blood Related but Our families are close. He even calls my relatives " aunt & Uncle " And I call his Mom " auntie " I have not seen him for about 10 years ! He went to college down south (14 hrs Away )and after graduating he found a job & stayed. 3 yrs ago My family reunion was down in his city and he came to visit all of us. Most of my family were leaving to return home but my filght was postponed to the next day. He asked if I wanted to hang out and I said ok . He picked me up from my hotel and we went to get something to eat . We laughed and talked about things from our childhood And we found out that we are both in the same Career !. We left and went to his Apt . Next thing I know he started coming on to me and yall know the rest lol ! The only problem was that I was so scared & unrelaxed that we DID NOT have **** ! I told him everytime I look at him I see his Mom & that when he looks at me he sees my aunt and that having **** wouldn't be cool .He said he was having a hard time reading me ! ( i have no clue what that means) we left & he dropped me off back at my hotel. After that we talked on the phone a couple of times. 5 months later I went back to his city to celebrate my birthday. Some of my other cousins also came along. He took us out to a club. We all had a ball. But the entire weekend I noticed him Staring at me all the time , I would catch him ! I didn't say anything to him because my fam was around! After that he came home for the holidays & contacted me . He came over to my house & we had **** ! But before we did the do he said " You know we can tell anybody " and that rattled me . Im not into Casual **** !!!! A whole year went by and we talked on the phone a couple of times. Out of the blue he calls me to let me know that he was in town for his Birthday & that His mom was throwing him a birthday party at her house & that I could come . I went to the party , I thought it was going to a bunch of people out are there BUT It was Only His family!! I talked & partied with his fam everything was cool until I caught him staring again. It was time to go &

It was time to go & he walked me to my car & he said he definatley wanted to see me before he went back home. He called the next night and asked me what I was doing . I was out at a club , I asked him if if he wanted to come & he said he just got in from hanging out . He asked what time was I going to be home , I said Im not sure because I had some other stops to make why what's up , and he didn't respond ! So i left it alone . The next day he left. 4 months later Me & my fam was in his city for a funeral . I called and invited him to come out to dinner with the fam . He had said he had previous plans . He then Texted me and and asked we were leaving i said in the morning , he said ok Ill holla at yall when im done . He texted me around 11pm and asked if we were still out , I said no were back at the hotel . he said well " are you in for the night " I said "yeah we have to get up real early to get on the road " He did not respond . 1 year later I went back to his city with the fam . I called him to see if he wanted to hang out . He told me that he moved up north so he can go to Grad school ! Now he is only 2hrs away ! I had him on speakerphone . He said that we should come and visit since he was closer to home. I took him off speaker and he ended to convo with " Dont be a Stranger " What does that mean —? . Next week iam going to a housewarming that is 30 mins from where he is ! I was going to stop and see him since i was so close. ( I have not told him yet ) I really care him & i wonder if he feels the same. I want to be more than friends with him. My questions are . 1. Should I go visit him ? 2. Do you think he has any type of feelings for me ? What did he mean by " Reading Me". Im scared that if I dont go that ill never know what could be ?

I called him when I got to the town the party was in no response . I ended up having to drive to his town to pick someone up from the airport , I called again no response . I recieved a text message at 5:30 sunday afternoon saying " Hey just got your message. Iam so sorry I'm just getting back to you. Are you still around ? " I called him back and He said that he doesnt check his voicemails all the time and he just checked them earlier taht morning . I told him I was getting ready to leave BUT Ill be back up that way on the 15th. When I told him that I was actually in the town he sounded kinda sad ! He kept apolgizing . He then told me that on the 31st that he was going to Atlanta ( I dont know why he would tell me that but okay ) He ended the convo with Make sure you hit me up . THEN around 10pm I recieved another text saying that " I really Iam sorry . I wished you lived closer "

Ok Now Iam Totally confused . I put forth the effort , I made the first move and look what happened ! What should I do now ? I know he said to call when I go back on the 15th But If I already told him that and if he really wanted to see me I should wait for his call right ? I did cry a little bit on the drive home because I really care about him. Alright guys what should I do now ?

BrianTristan ! Here's a update ! Well on sunday i was on the way back home from a friends house . I texted him the night before & said I was gonna stop through around 9:30 am the next morning . Well I got really behind schedule by this time it was around 5: 30 pm I called but he did not answer . By the time he called back I was About an hour from home and 2 hours from him. When he called back just holla at him anytime im up that way cause he's always there. I was so mad because I had a feeling that he was gonna call back when I was almost home . So I decided to turn around and go back ! I did not want to miss the opportunity ! Around 8pm I texted him and asked him if he wanted to get a bite to eat before I got back on the road my treat . He said ok ! I called him and when he answered I woke him up he then explained that tomm was a big day so he was preparing for that & he already ate .. I felt bad about that so I told him that he did not half to come out , But he said no " im gonna meet you just give me a few minutes " A few minutes turn into 30 mins but who cares LOL . He called me for directions to Ruby Tuesday's . In mind im thinking " ok why is he asking me for directions Im not form here lol ) He met me and we sat down He had one drink and I ate . The convo was really good we talked about things when we were little, school , kids , marriage ( he was very excited to know that we had the same views on marriage & kids ) .... He told me that he does not go out that's why he asked me for directions . He said that he goes to work , practice then home . His office hours are very long . He said that he's there for one purpose and that is to get his Bacherlor's Degree . The school is letting him go there for FREE ! Plus he has a coaching job with them . ( Plus he has a CHEF) after we talked for about an hour he invited me to come up to some games ! . We left , He then said that it was too late to get on the road , I said your'e right so Im going to get a room for the night and leave early in the morning . He said that he would bring me to his house but he has a house full of football players staying with him until they get housing . I said it's cool ill be ok , He said well imma go with you to make sure you are in safely . We got to the hotel , He did all the talking for me and let me use his AAA card . We went to the room . I changed my clothes and we talked for about 30mins. He said it was getting late so he had to go . We hugged ( A very long hug ) but he d

When I got home i Texted him and said : Im Home , thanks for hanging out with me " Was that over kill ? Im really excited to go to one of the games . I feel so happy maybe it's because this is the first time weve been face to face in 1 year ( he reminded me of that ) Im glad i decided to turn around and go back !!! He responded to my text saying " Oh Ok sorry I didnt have more time to hang be safe" I read that and was like wow ! That's all I get! 2 weeks have gone by since then so last night I sent him a text saying " Hey Just was thinking about you, Give me a call when you get a chance " He hasnt responded yet . Even though deep down inside I dont think he will . I dont know what to do ? How do cancer guys feel about long distance relationships ? Does he have feelings for me ? If this is only about sex why would he choose me considering all the history ( our Families ) we have ? Please help

If he was after sex only, he wouldnt go for you being part of the family and all that. Definitely he has feelings for you, though he probably doesnt want to rush things since it is kind of a difficult situation with you being far.
What do YOU want? are you willing to have a LD relationship with hiim and face adversities, not being able tosee each other often and so on?
For Cancers, PRESENCE is importance. They are not great talkers or callers or texters. They prefer to see you since they can then feel you, feel your energy, share stuff with you.
