Life would be boring if everything were flatline. I'm glad I'm not one of the signs that feels it's 'stronger' to repress emotions.

my close double cancer friend knows damn well how moody he is! i even straight up asked him one day and he replied with an unhesitant, strong ''yes''. he wishes it weren't so noticeable to others though.

from my experience he doesn't blow hot and cold at all... at least with me. he's good friends with this other leo girl, who is also his occasional booty call, but pays her far less attention than he does me. he's super affectionate with me (without being clingy!), initiates plans to hang out at least once a week, and commits to plans with me. she complains to me all the time how he's wishy-washy with her, is non-commital, and only sees her about once a month. she's more stereotypical leo than i am though: louder, showy, more demanding, irrationally jealous, and an attention seeker. she comes off as insecure sometimes.

Yes, but mostly when I'm tired, or highly stressed out by work...other than that I'm easy going.

Yes, I'm a Cancer girl, but I seem to have a pretty good control over my moods unless I just don't like you. But at work I try to remain professional by staying quiet and not having to deal with peeps I can't stand.

I know I am and try my best to stabilize my emotions.

the guy i'm involved with hasn't described himself as moody. he's used just about every synonym for moody to describe himself though.

i really want to see him sad. i see hints, but i haven't seen it for real. i want to see mopey and broody.

I'm not sure what you mean by it .. moody isn't an identifiable condition across the board.

Hot and cold ... those would mean complete opposites to me, extremes of feelings. Do you mean by moody that your feelings are in extremes?

Does this mean angry/happy?

Intensity/numb?

Is it referring to hate/love?

Is there not a middle ground?

My moon is in Cancer, with a Pisces sun and my moods are barely noticable ... if moods are to be defined as hot/cold, to infer extreme opposites.

However, if moods are to mean that there are touches of endearment regularly for many things, then this would be something I feel often. And it doesnt' have to be a huge thing ... a baby animal, a parent scolding a child for no reason, the moon being hidden behind the clouds ... little inklings of feelings for it will rise to the surface. To me that would describe moody.

Moody as in hot/cold I'm not sure I get. Does this mean that if you love or hate, it's so fierce that it takes you over?

Most other signs just say we cancers are moody. Just moody, no explanation. So I'm curious if other cancers think they are. Seems everyone has a bit of a different idea what moody means to them, so it's interesting to read all the responses.

What might seem like a normal state of mind or reaction to us could come across as moody I guess. And some of us might have stronger emotional reactions than others, which can also be perceived as moody...

I see moodiness as an emotional reaction to things that other people don't grasp. I've even been affected by a color or a word. Any stimuli has the potential to make me switch from happy, to brooding, to sadness, to escape, to whatever else. It can be quite an abrupt switch too. It may last from an hour to several days, max. 2 or 3.

I agree.... i find myslef creating moods out of nothing!!!! facial expressions that can get me in trouble... lol is just that we hide so much inside of our shells that unconsciously we let it out... I dont even realized I am being a bitch with the people i love until someone actually points it out!

I forgot to say.. thats part of out charm.. people have told me i look cute when i get mad ! maybe because they havent seen me furious!!! lol

Absolutely, I am so moody sometimes that it can get interesting very quickly I think life would get pretty boring if I didn't have the moods though, I'm used to the rollercoaster now. Before I understood astrology I didn't understand why I seemed to be so different, but now I know better, I'm just blessed to be a cancer!!
