When he says "that's cool, man" - friend zoned?!

Hi,

When a guy asks you a (career related) question, and you give an in-depth answer, to which he listens to and then says "that's cool, man".. does this mean he has officially "friend zoned" you? (Please especially answer if you are a guy - would you use "man" with any girl you were actually attracted to or just for friends only?)

To be honest, this question is not cancer zodiac related but just thought I'd post it here anyway to get some insight - all zodiac signs are welcome to reply.

He may not understand what you do for a living or isn't in interested in hearing anything more about it.

Oh but he said "man", yes, I would feel he was trying to keep it surface with you.

He wants you to be a man. So man up dude!

What is your sign? How does he act around you otherwise? By the sounds of it you are friends only I've never called a woman dude or man.

I wouldnt read too much into that. See how the rest of the conversations and actions go and use that to judge.

He is just friendly with you by saying it not because he put you in a *friend zoned* i like that, though. cool.

Thank you for all of the posts so far, everyone. Now, looking back on my original post, it makes it sound like I am implying he said "that's cool, man" in a non-bothered way.. that's actually not true - He raised his eyebrows and said "That's cool, man" like he was genuinely impressed by my answer, so I could tell my answer was interesting to him (somewhat) just wanted to know whether this interested was friendly or anything more as he did say "man".

Please keep posting any helpful replies.
