What Does It Mean When He Calls You Luva

You guys should all read up on communication theory, ´cause there is so much to it.

We all come from our own little world, and words have a bith cultural, historicle but also personal meaning to us. If I call you babe, it means one thing, and if your friend does, it means another.

I think you have to know or get to know the person, you are communicating with, for you to decipher his or hers particular way of communicating. You can never ever say "oh, well that means this", so there really is no point in coming here and asking, ´cause communication is so based on it´s context in so many ways, that the only way to find out, is to ask the person you´re communicating with, about what they mean, and/or if you are understanding them correctly.

That's a good suggestion... but I just don't feel comfortable asking someone, "why did you just call me babe?"
I don't think that'd go very well?

Or maybe OP can ask the Cancer why he calls her luva and let us know how it goes? :p

We are dating so I'm guess he really likes me :-p and no I'm not going to ask him I think its cute

It probably means he likes you and was being flirty.

It's a term of endearment.
Not to be mistaken for a sign of romantic interest.
Cancers are affectionate, physically and vocally.

Instead of hugging a stranger I will say something like, "Thank you sweet pea."

This is why I keep listening a man. If he calls me like he is playing in the name of love. I'm on my own. Until he is the one chasing me.

The man who is in love is not using any term of love as a joke like *love ya*. I am glad my cancer man is not like this.. but still I have my own reservation.

Men and women playing safe for their own benefit - Better for those who are serious of finding a true love knows their boundary.
