Serious Capricorn. Responsible Capricorn. Doesn't sound like any Capricorns you know? They may be the ones who are still learning to integrate this principle into their life. All too often those born under this sign will experience at least one scenario whereby they must take on a heavy responsibility, often, for another person(s). This sign is about taking responsibility-especially without being asked. They have a natural sense of duty. The serious side often develops when the reality of life gets too unyieldingly harsh and they remember too late that all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

This how I experienced Capricorns. I mean in real life. Too calculating, too careful, too cautious.

Reading this message board and just needed to ad something. I am a capricorn that fell off the boat. All the qualities mentioned I do see alot of them adding up but unlike many other capricorn women I know I have the tendency of going crazy! I love having fun though I am carriere oriented I must have fun and express myself creatively in all sense of creativity. And yes I find lifes ironies rather funny even my own uncalculated mistakes but that keeps me grounded in realizing that mistakes is a part of life and I can learn and grow from my mistakes.

You people make capricorns sound so dull. ummmm thinking about it alot of capricorns are dull guess I am an exception to the rule. hahahahaha (funny)

Though I have a strong sense for justice and equality there are other signs who have that same trait, would you classify that as immobility too or being a vulture haffo?

Oh and mystic fish I can be everything but patient. There is not one patient cell in my body except when I know I will bennefit from it for 100% . And then I can only think on work.

(i agree, sun signs in themselves can get painted with a big broad brush. It's all 10 + rising that makes us so diverse and different.. i like to look at it more as the capricorn energy/archtype, than only pure sun-sign.)

Thrifty and Conservative - HELL NO. Has to have everything he wants if not he is very miserable.

Yeapp, I agree too. I feel the description is somewhat true for the male, not really female capricorns.. hehe yeah u guys seem 'mercifully,normal'.
And why is it you'r different?

It should also be known that rising and moon signs can also conflict with the natural personality of a persons sign as well - like with my Pisces - she swears up and down she's more cap than anything but I believe it has a lot to do with her rising sign being Cap - kind of like how I find myself acting like my Libra supervisor (though he's on the libra/scorpio cusp) but the traits are definately there - and my Virgo moon traits always seem to come out and play from time to time as well 😛

They cant jump into anything unless you reasure that they are not going to get hurt, Cap men are known for jumping in and out of relationships cause of the shield around them only few ppl can get through in there life time..... Think about it. If you get in your in but if not your will never be!

I agree that Cap males seem to have a lot of the Cap traits... i'm overly cautious. It drives my Aries crazy!!! HAHA but I have Sag. rising so maybe thats why i'm full of energy!! I hate being bored...I'm definitly not boring i'm always on the go and i'm not very passive at all. Yes, I am loyal, but only if I feel i'm getting it in return. No, No, I don't jump into anything without thinking about it for a while. I am extremely thrifty but you'd never tell...all of my Express and Limited Dress pants that would usually cost me $ 45 in store, I buy at thrift stores and they cost me $ 7 and look brand new. You'd never tell the difference. Yes, traditional..I'm used to things being done a certain way (except for when sex is concerned)... Make us feel safe...we have to know that you're really our true friends, lovers, etc...
Loyalty will make us relax and kick up our heals and let loose....and so will a few drinks..but who wants to be around a drunk person all the time?

we are really the best lovers though...if you can make us feel safe then we deliver the best unconditional love there is. I know that's true for me. I'll stick beside my true friends and my family through anything. I hope in you when everyone else turns their head and I'll think long and hard about the perfect birthday, anniversary, or christmas gift. Why don't you just move to PA and see if this thing will work? Eight years (correct me if I'm wrong) is a long time to be holding out for someone. Might as well go out there and see if you can get what you want. When was the last time you guys spoke on the phone?
