Capricorn men and meeting the parents

I've been with my cap guy for just under two months. Things have been going great between us but i'm not entirely sure how serious he is because he hasn't actually said how serious he is.....

For me, meeting the parents is a really big deal and he's gonna be meeting mine in two weeks time. I just wondered if caps are likely to meet the parents if they wern't serious about a relationship? I suggested the meeting because he said he was keen to see where i come from and he's said he's looking forward to it. I just don't want to make a mistake by letting him into such a major part of my life he's not gonna be around for long (i'm a cancer) He's also spoken about me meeting his mother, she lives abroad and is flying out at the end of March. Do you think I should just ask him straight up if he's serious about this relationship or just go with it? Any advice from caps or women who are dating caps would be great!
