capricorn moon

I met this virgo sun capricorn moon through family and both were drawn to each other ..we started interacting via texting and occasional calls ..almost after an year he proposed me for marriage. .I agreed but since it was a ldr , I told him that I would not give up my job at once and move in with him immediately after mrg. After that he suddenly became distant and cold and when I asked him abt it he said he was busy ..I sensed something was wrong so just let him be for sometime...few days later I asked him if he wasn't interested anymore to which he replied that we should drop the idea of marriage. .I was hurt so stopped communicating with him. . after some days he again started texting..it has been six months now..He still does that. ..he has again gone back to his old self- sweet caring etc. ..Do capricorn moon never move on? ? does he still want something. ...I need your opinions please
