What does this mean exactly? I've seen this used so much in terms of relationships but what is chemistry?

Not just intimate relationships, but working relationships, family interaction, etc.

What does it mean to have the wrong chemistry?

I am thinking, when u got wrong chemistry, its like taking a wrong peice of puzzle and trying to fit it in the wrong spot. As for right chemistry is when the actual puzzle does fit. But I am also confuse with this term, does it relate to compatibility? :S

People have no clue what they are on about when they say these things..

Well if you know more then the ones above contribute, I'm trying to learn here. Not unless you say but do not know yourself 😉

No well not necessarily. I see soul mate as someone with whom you shared a past life with, what makes it special is the fact that you have a shared past that goes further down than this physical life. So basically you understand each other more than you should in people eyes.

Okay, see I looked a the connection through a soulmate totally differently. I didn't even think about your soulmate being someone you've known from a past life and you meet again. I was just thinking of instant connection.

Hmmm, this is interesting ... I'm pondering now. So chemistry with someone can happen even if you aren't technically the most compatible -- or is that with a soul mate?

Soulmate is an instant connection as you stated but the reason behind that connection, it's because you know each other already, from a past life. So it's more like a ...

Hey! I know you, type of feeling ... So it can be, Hey! I know you and we had incredible chemistry back then, which is beautiful but it can also be .. Hey! I know you and I don't want to go through this again, I had enough, leave me alone.

Holy cow! Okay, my brain is twisted, but thats okay 😄 I like it when my toughts don't make sense, but what you wrote made sense 😄

Okay, I guess I'm curious about all this because in two recent past situations, I thought I had perfect chemistry with one man and the other I thought was a bit of a soul-mate connection because things just seem to click automatically.

I feel like I was wrong on both fronts so I'm trying to figure out whether or not I understand what real chemistry is verse regular attraction.

:So, what most of you are saying is that having chemistry is equal to a soul mate connection?:

i think there is no connection between chemistry & soul mates.

first of all, i don't believe in soul mates but that is a different discussion.

also, i was just noticing - i have tremendous chemistry with my eye doctor! i just saw him today & haven't been in 2 years. i thought to myself, self, when are you EVER that funny, witty & interactive? there is some really great chemistry there. we click! something just works.

that's all chemimstry is.

something just works right.

it's like a winning formula for interaction with someone. you don't know what causes it or who it will happen with, but voila, there it is. with near-strangers like my eye doctor.

who i am not going to be dating or mating - like ever!
