does my Capricorn boyfriend hate me?

I'm in love with a Capricorn man. When we are together in person he is amazing --- he is passionate, funny, attentive and a tiny bit shy and also generous, thoughtful and incredibly intelligent, and loving. But in between dates he can become super cold and distance and acts like he wants to push me away.

But he will shyly reveal little things he's been doing or thinking about that show me he is actually thinking about me a lot when we're not together.

But his go-to reaction to feeling stress or anything is just to shut everybody out. He also virtually never texts or calls. We talk about twice a week in between dates if that. Sometimes only once a week. And we see each other once, or occasionally, twice per week. He is a workaholic who owns his own business and he literally works constantly. I am proud of his work but I wish he felt able to take time off to relax sometimes.

We've been seeing each other 3.5 months. He is an amazing person, but I can't help feeling rejected some of the time. My intuition says that he is really into me though.

So confusing.
