Help! Boss is a Micromanager!!!!

My boss is a micromanager!!! Driving me crazy!!! Makes me feel like she doesn't trust me to follow through on my work. Uhhh....duh! I'm a Cap! Maybe she needs a lesson in astrology.

Now the virgo in the office, needs following up on. Too busy in everyone else's business to get hers done.
But the pisces and I don't need to be babied.

Nothing I can do about it but vent!

Forgot to add. The boss is a Taurus.

I take it as an insult she doesn't give me a chance to follow up on my own work and it pisses me off.
I've tried to jokingly drop hints in a nonconfrontational way. Didn't work. I said "did you think I wasn't going to follow through? lol" She said she was just obessive compulsive.

I don't know to ignore the emails, confront and tell her how it makes me feel, or what to do about it.

I could understand if it was a week later, but these things are pended for only one day or less.
