It depends on what caused me to be in a funk. Music is the great elixar and therapeutic. But if I am very upset then I get in my bed with all kazillion of my pillows and I cry my eyes out until I fall asleep then I go to the bathroom and look at my face and eyes and splash water on it, lol. Then I get back in bed and stare at the white ceiling until I fall back to sleep. If I have cried until no more tears will come then I write.

Capricorns are famous for NOT dealing with their emotions in the moment. Yes, they will go on to eventually take time out to get their emotions in check, but never during the moment their emotions get all out of funk. It's like the minute something bad/tramatizing happens, they sit & wait until things get REALLY bad to start even considering how they will handle their emotions from then on out.

Alot of Capricorns handle their emotions & frustrations in the workplace or with their closest friends/family. They can hold grudges for a veryyyy long time. When they are happy, they are extremely happy & want everyone to know it. But when they are mad or depressed, they are extremely down & everybody will know it even if a Capricorn tries to hide it. BUT, the good thing about Capricorns is that it's not that they don't deal with their emotions up front b/c of the fear of doing so. If anything, they are always striving to appear to be the "strong" ones in any & every situation & may not deal with their emotions until they feel that absolutely NO ONE is looking and/or when everybody finally gets off their back.

One thing though about Capricorns is that they never give up when it comes to finding solutions on how to get their emotions back in check. Even when they are down & out & feel that trouble will last always, they are constantly searching for an "escape" or way out or something that will distract them (not from their emotions) from the effect their conflicts have on themselves & on others.

If a Capricorn was watching a Dr. Phil show on how to get rid of stress or conflicting emotions, they're the type to actually go exercise, listen to classical music & eat fruit just like Dr. Phil said. The minute they even HEAR about a possible solution, they jump right on it, putting all their trust & energy into hoping that it'll work & help them cope. Capricorns don't just sit around & sulk & see options for resolve but yet not take them. They may sulk & hate suggestions from others on how to cheer up but that's just b/c they hate appearing to be weak, vulnerable or like the ones who for once can't get their emotions in check. If anything, it depresses them even more when the people they care about see them in such funks b/c Caps. main goal is to be head-strong & successful even when in their private life, things are going terribly wrong. Capricorn LIVES FOR status & reputation & sometimes they forget that everyone hits their lows just like they hit their highs.

ok, if a cap is going through stuff like depression, anger, etc. Is it best to leave them alone? I have a cap friend who is going through some stuff, and I want him to know i am there for him when he wants to talk. Should I just wait until he asks for my two cents?

I love to have someone to talk to. Just cos cappy is clinical about emotions doesnt mean they are embarressed about them. Im quite open about how Im feeling and looking for ideas to resolve it

My venus is in Capricorn so when it comes to matters of love, I def. do all that I can to push myself out of a funk

If the problem I'm having seems unfixable & out of my control, it kills me! And yes, I'll sulk & feel sorry for myself. BUT I'll do all of this in the dark & behind closed doors.

I'll read alot, vent to friends, keep myself busy & sometimes even over-analyze things. And even when I'm around others during a funk, they can still feel a certain distance/disconnect from me.

Idk, I hate being the buzz kill in the group. I hate for my bad mood to drag others down so I feel I'm doing others a favor by isolating myself until I'm atleast at a point where my company is enjoyable.

I rarely cry. And if I do, something big/devestating must've happened. Even still, I cry in the dark.

1 thing I hate though is when a bunch of people are constantly in my face during my funk. Yes, I know they care but seriously, I escape my funks quicker when I'm alone. Having to explain the same story over & over again to different people (half are just being nosy while the other half actually care) gets draining & only prolongs the process of me getting over whatever it is that's bothering me

The Cap at work that been flirting with me also have a tough job with managing a group of about 20 people in 3 states and has started coming to me to express how hefeels about certain things (as his Legal and HR guidance) that I'm suggesting. I try to get him to express the things by posing scenario questions to get him to think it out loud with me and in the end I do try to make it feel like it's him that's coming up with the idea (even if I introduced the possibility).

So I too wonder how you go about getting a Cap to talk about their emotions. Mine isn't relationship minded but rather work minded because I've been told that prior to me starting with this company, he felt hedidn't have a Legal/HR ally to support his group.
