How to get Cap man to STOP spending$$

I need some advise on how to get the love of my life a Cappyman to stop spending all of his money—

Everytime we talk about money he gets mad like Im trying to control him or something. But I'm really not I just want more for my life instead of a nice looking car that depreciates everytime you put more money into it.
I want a house and so does he but he spends soooo much money I cant save anything cause Im always giving him money to pay for his bills.

I thought cappies were supposed to be good with money.

He wont pay his bills unless I fight with him. Or if it has to do with his cars or the rent. Oh wait he even let the rent bounce once. LOL.. Dont worry I fixed it we are not homless... Yet.

We got a joint account last month so I had more money to play with (get bills paid down & put money aside for our down payment). As soon as I asked him to give me a bank statement for his bank account he freaked but it was his idea that I have to manage the money and keep HIM and HIS spending under control. We faught for 2 days then I egnored him for 6 hours and he called asking when I was going to be home! (We live together).

PLEEEEASE HELP ME—?

He was stressed but now he is not and he is getting better.
We just took a break from eachother for 2 months and I didnt talk to him at all for 3 weeks. So he spent $ 14,000 in the 3 weeks and now Im am covering his ass... So yes you are right he was stressed. Now he is doing a little better but I no he can do better. His mom tells me I have to wait for him to grow up!

Anymore suggestions to speed up the process??

Hello thanks all. To answer your question NO he does not have any addiction. He is very good man when it comes to that stuff. He is however addicted to spending on his cars. Thats what he does. In 3 weeks he baught a new (used) truck new flashy seats for his car new stereo deck for both he went to Montreal with his boys. He went to numerous car show that cost alot of money. His real problem is buying fast food all the time on average he spends $ 200/week on fast food thats $ 800/month on top of his bills. I have been getting on top of reminding him about his bill payments. We do have 3 accounts and I have 2 savings account He has 1 that he doesnt use.
Just to let you no that the 3 weeks we were not speaking he didnt have work so he was living off 3 credit cards and his overdraft protection.

He has been making a difference we cancelled all the credit cards. He consolidated all his debt into one monthly payment. He started making conscious buying decitions. I made a budget plan I told him if he can stick to this plan we can afford this townhouse that we both want. Im still kinda nervous about going through with it though cause the last time I handled everything he was unhappy cause I was always talking about money but he didnt spend then like he does now. So now I have to get him back into responsible mode.

I know that is a radiculas amount to spend on fast food. There is an explanation for that too.

He is in a trade and they travel up north alot so they stay in a hotel for the week and he has Crohns desiese so he cant buy cheap stuff like eg.McD's, Wendys, Harvy's cause that sh*t will put him in the hospital so he has to eat at quality resturants that cook things that are healthy for him. I usually pack those discusting lunchable things and snacks but thats not enought food for him. So on average he does spend over $ 10- $ 15 on 1 meal. I cant send him with real stuff to eat cause it will get thrown out (go bad). When he works in town we save alot of money cause I pack lunches and he makes dinner.

I would agree with your theory if I wasn't invested in this relationship cause thats always the easiest way.LOL RUNNNNNNN.. : )

I have kept seperate accounts though thanks to this web site. It I didnt come here I would have been broke by now. LOL.
