If you inspired poetry..

How would you feel? React? If someone wrote something for you, about you and shared it with you... how would Caps generally react?
Will be sharing this post in maybe another board or two... but I was just curious as to a Cap's response, interested in male and female response but specifically male responses gratefully received 🙂

I'd be flattered, but I think it'd freak me out. Way too personal, way too embarrassing, way too extreme and it would make me severely uncomfortable. It wouldn't matter whether I liked/loved them or not.

Thanks everyone 🙂 The Cap is on the cusp of Sag and very open and very romantic/idealistic and claims that people tell him he communicates like a woman but he is definitely masculine (iyswim?) He never sends two word replies to messages... he sends long messages and can talk on the phone for hours... he's told me personal things that have felt like he let me in very quickly and he said that he felt I was open and trustworthy immediately (we did have an instant connection, this is the guy from my other post, btw) 🙂

Oh hahaha ^_^ I'd be embarrassed too, but would secretly love it... writing is very cathartic 🙂

Maybe when I'm 80 and going through his things after his death and I found one he had written 20 years before, then I'd think that was romantic - because it would be sentimental.

I don't mean that in a morbid way. I know elderly women that have had this happen. Then, there's also some that find evidence of an affair they didn't know about. So the poem would be romantic and a testament of love to treasure.

Internal Dialogue: OH GOD, WHAT!? I-I HALP MEEE. WHAT DO? THIS ISN'T COVERED UNDER MY SKILL SET!! -calls brain- Give me my list of reactions, I need good ones.

Brain's lists of options:
-Out do them by marrying them. (NO. TOO SOON.)

- Have Sex with them. (Not turned on at all, so no. Plus they might try seducing me with the stuff. Which is a No-No.)

- Kiss them and say you're flattered you inspire such feelings from them. (I'd get this thought AFTER the moment.)

- Blush, hide face, giggle like a moron. (You're a dude. No.)

-Make up an excuse and RUN, RUN LIKE THE WIND! (You have Pride. NO.)

-Give them a present. (Meh. Plus it comes off awkward.)

I'm a Sag.... we do that sitting there awkwardly thing all the time when people say nice stuff to us... lol.... 😛 it's more about how it feels to receive than it is about a return on my *investment* Sag's do what we do because we want to give, not because we expect anything (let alone an acknowledgement) in return. So it's how you feel about it, not how you react to it externally iyswim? 🙂
