Need advice pls

Hello everybody!

I am here cause I have one question about this cappy man: he has been staring and I litteraly mean staring at me for years (I am not kidding, we work for the same company). Apart from the staring part, it was clear he liked me and wanted me to notice him etc.

Having found out his name (by chance), I decided to send him a friend request on FB. He accepted it. I suppose he didn't know my name but saw my picture. This was a few days ago.

But....nothing has happened ever since.

I would like to get to know him. I am not talking about a relationship, as I don't know him, but I would really like to be in contact with him, I find him very attractive.

So, is there smthg I should do or now the ball is in his court?

What I meant was that for the moment I just want to get to know him better.

There would have been nothing wrong with introducing myself, except that I didn't think about it (I know, slap me now).

I would talk to him now, but I wonder if I haven't spoiled it since the beginning.

And we work for the same company, but it is so big that we don't see each other very often.

I did contact him and he replied within seconds. He then led the conversation. I can`t believe this!

Ok. I'm a little confused...you want to get to know him, yet don't want a relationship, and you find him attractive...

Normally when someone wants to get to know someone else, they introduce themselves, talk, communicate, have some form of dialogue. What was wrong with just introducing yourself?

Anyway, he accepted your Facebook request and what was suppose to happen after that? You wanted him to message you, like your pics and posts....— 😕

Something you should do? Talk to him maybe? 😕 ball is in his court? Um, ok...— He might not be aware that there is a ball or a court.

He stares at you at work and you know he is interested...hmm..if that is the case he will make moves when he's ready to, which may or may not happen since the 2 of you work together....
