Personally, I'd have to go with the Cap if it truly went down.
IMHO, cardinal signs are the chess masters of the zodiac ( I am one, but its from observation rather than bias ).

Not instigating, just want to understand them because I know two who are fighting at work over a dangling promotion.

Yes, sit back and pop a bag of popcorn and watch...should be entertaining lol. There is usually some type of silent respect between the two signs I notice, but if it's for a promotion...why do I think Scorpio would win? It all depends on how bad either want it.

I too have learned that (some) Scorpio women are not so skillful liars. They are transparent and make themselves look like fools -- and they are always the last to know.

I do have one very good Scorp female friend though. She has a whole other set of issues though. 😉

Yes, she sees everyone as a threat. She uses everyone at work for something (rides to/from work, covers for her shift, leaves early etc.) It's classless and obvious. The ONLY thing she has going for her is she's super aggressive in Sales because she wants the promotion. Before it was available, she was SO lazy and couldn't care less, expecting the rest of the team to do everything. UGH.

caps are entirely too impressed with themselves. that ego of theirs will ruin them. scorpios will wait and manipulate and generally be more effective. in general cardinal signs are too bossy and pushy and aren't well liked by people in positions of authority. fixed signs make more effective leaders because of their solidity and endurance in the face of extremes. cardinal signs, like aries and caps especially, start projects with some huge idea and then go to something else before finishing the first project. they're good idea people but they don't have the follow through that a scorp does.

This is not true about Caps. Capricorns are the major finishers most projects started by other signs.

True, we have the perseverance and self discipline to see things through/done right. I'm going to agree with Scorched though: Scorpios will beat us in pure dedication.

LOVE it that cardinal signs for example can "start" quicker and faster. Do projects immediately. Something will catch them and then woooshhhhh like mission impossible...the flame starts running....

sometimes they get tired and need pause, so they take breaks though. The fixedity of say a Fixed Mercury can go on and on and on, ignoring sometimes the outside needs of body and mind for rest and relaxation, for food and nourishment.

The Cap usually doesn't bother with the mind game, even though he knows all of them. When the Scorp wins, he wants everybody to know it ( while giving the impression that he doesn't). When the Cap wins, he truly doesn't care or want anyone to know it because he usually only wins it for himself.

You're right though, Tiger, about the "if he or she cares" part. My observation is that Caps usually can't be bothered because they usually find their own way to the top. They're usually content to let the others think they won ( that half-fish trait of theirs).

Truthfully, I think it's a stalemate but in a fight, while the Scorp will try to put as many obstacles in a Cap's way, the Cap will merely jump over the obstacles while aiming for the goal. If it was the reverse, (ie a Cap putting obstacles in a Scorp's way), the Scorp, with their tendency for revenge, will try to retaliate. But as I said, Caps can't be bothered to play such games and would rather not put obstacles. They'd rather find their own way to the goal.

These 2 have a grudging respect for each other because each can see through the other. Well, maybe the Cap might be a tad harder for Scorpio to see through but they both have more or less similar qualities.

After working with both Cap Moon and Scorp Sun females, I much prefer Caps. Both are suspicious, slooooow to trust, and tendency to get jealous, but at least Caps appreciate hierarchy. Albeit, those in the position of power better be damn good, but at least they respect it, and the time and effort it took to get there.

A Scorp may try to skim on the work and get the most benefit, whereas the Cap will work (sure they complain), but at least they are not entitled. Scorps also have a tendency to be manipulative and play dirty because they can be so paranoid and spiteful as a result.

Before anyone freaks out, my mom is a Scorp. Love her and feel lucky to be her daughter, but...would hate to work with her.

The argument is irrelevant because for a Scorpio to "Win" he has to slay his own inner demons and raise in vibration, That's the whole point of his battle. As long as the Scorpio is trying to win a battle with a Cap he is losing the war. But should he give up battling the Cap and work on himself instead he will Win, but not against the cap.

For a Capricorn to win he has to work hard for himself make lots of money for himself. Even if he is losing out in a small clash with a Scorpio the cap is still working hard and figuring out different ways to succeed. And learning from the Scorpio's strategist talents.

And you have to take note that both these signs can learn A lot from each other, The Scorpio will definitely set out to learn everything he can from the Cap and if the Caps wan'ts to he will do the same.

scorpio may win, because losing is not an option. Capricorn is cardinal and will relax and take it easy, for awhile, but scorpio is obsessed. determined to win. capricorn may win if scorpio is so exhausted that all their energies are depleted from not taking a break. then that's the part where capricorn gets up and strikes, and makes the hoofed move. (this is all general of course, and based only on focusing those energies singularly)

Capricorn will win because they know the wisdom of the following cliche, "Revenge is a dish best served cold." Scorpios harpoon themselves by getting revenge in the heat of the moment and burning all their bridges. An angry scorpio is dangerous to themselves and others. I had to let go a scorpio female friend who was just too vengeful for me. She'd get into personal conflicts with coworkers and they try to use what they know against them in the lowest way possible. One single mom had an outstanding warrant over a debt and she called the police on her. Of course it's not right to skip out on your debts but that doesn't mean you have to right to fuck with their lives like that. Another woman was having an affair with the married boss and she called the bosses' wife just to get rid of her. It's overkill and scorpios can be bad that way.

Update on the original topic: The Scorp is gone, she folded immediately when I called her out on illegal behaviour face to face about six months ago. As I said before, my mom is a Scorp, and while I admire her work ethic too, her negative paranoia can be so fucking annoying and damages relationships she builds/her reputation.

After getting to know my Cap intimately (he works somewhere else), I think he is extremely powerful and more formidable. For example, he has a supervisor that oversees his department but he says she does not know anything about it but will not give it up. Yesterday he went to the director and proposed a plan on why she should not be above him (cost saving, efficiency, etc.). I think he will get his way. This illustrates a Cap to me. He/she will win by merit and by doing the job. Does he know where he can cut corners? Yes. Can he be cold? Yes! But does he also put in the work when no one else will? Yes. My Cap is working through the holidays because I'm out of town, so we won't spend NYE together. He checked with me first so that was sweet ...damn u sexy goats!

Anyway, he will be the only Manager doing so when everyone else is taking vacation. As mentioned before, Cap has the benefit of not being emotional when shit hits the fan, and they have immense staying power to reach their goals.

People Love to pin the Scorpio against the Capricorn. lol clash of the Titans indeed ... Scorpios can be emotional wrecks sometimes. But I know many scorpios who also have great poker faces. I would say that the Capricorn would win. Not because I'm a Capricorn, but because of the simple fact that Scorpio doesn't know how to play it cool. All of the lies, manipulating, hiding, etc. is so unnecessary. I don't like Scorpio women. The men are cool though.

They're both strong. Scorpio surely never gives up, very vindictive, secretive and can be back stabbing. But ultimately Cap will win because they're stronger and if they manage to intimidate the Scorp, which often they can it's the Cap who wins. But depending on the situation I'd suggest that the Cap covers their basis and "shields" from Scorpio attacks because if the Scorp is cray cray and is determined to make you pay they will come for you after you'Ve moved on and have gotten back to business while they spent the past months or years plotting your "fall" LOL.
